have another 7 in the pressure cooker right now. it should make the stash about 40 quarts. if shtf the wife and i will be a bit stinky. going to can 14 pints of hamburger tomorrow. one pint will hold the cooked dowm size of 1lb

That is a lot of cooking but I assume a labor of love.

  I do a little canning all year long, I'm going to can some tomatoes soon as there's lots of them in the garden.  I also want to get a few pints of ham and pints of beans canned.

  This morning I built another firewood box,



  I could still use a few more.

An odd thing, a gent  or family that live about 1 mile from here, was in the country now in town, he has a border fence along the road at minimum 100 feet long, made out of firewood.
They are all the same length and similar in size; I watched for years as he built the fence.
I have never seen that before.

tomorrow i have raspberrys, blackberrys strawberrys and rhubarb that ail came from the yard. dont have enough ambition to go out where theres lots of raspberrys this year so ill mix them all together and put up and make some mixed fruit jam. i was going to do burger but im going to need to buy some more jars. nobody seems to bring them back.
