Why would Texans protest? Their governor is not the problem, biden is. Biden won't care or take note of Texans protesting in Texas. Unless they go to DC, their protests won't mean squat. And, even if they went to DC to protest, biden still isn't going to change.
Texans are trying to protect their property, and their families down here. Even the older folks. Anyone with any sense knows what is going on down here if they live here, and some are aware that don't.
Of the 50 states, 45 of'em are mia, but they're long on armchair quarterbacks. We don't need to go to DC, we're fully aware of what effect it wouldn't have to do so. We're plodding along, doing what we can to back our governor, our LE officers, and our State guardsmen.
Even our local State Troopers, regardless of rank rotate onto, and off of the border, and we try and help their families any way we can while they're gone. Personal gear is donated to them if their needs are known, and private citizens of all ages are constantly volunteering to help and traveling there at their own expense.
