So the socialist countries claim they are taking over a country, "for the people"., but too often, they end up making the people poor and
dependent on government' for everything.
One of the first things socialists demand, is to take guns away from the people! They do this because they know very well that they plan on
doing things to the people, that the people don't want..and may well resist. This is their plan from the start.
Socialism starts out with an appeal to the low in formation street mob to do their part, but ending up with the powerful core cadre taking over in a
dictatorial role.
Just look at some of the most repressive regimes.. Too often, their repressive institutions have the prefix.."People's Republic"..while the people
are being treated like sheep.... some going to their slaughter.... most often starting with their "useful idiot" street mob.

There are many "socialist" countries or, at least countries which include substantial "socialist" policies and programs in their day to day running.
They have not slid into communism. The way that you have presented your ideas implies that the the socialist to communist metamorphosis has occurred more than it really has. As noted earlier, there is a very limited number of communist countries....most of them third world countries.

While I did not say every country that dabbles with Socialism..reverts to Communism ? But many of them fulfil what Lenin said they would do!
