Senator James Lankford Rep. Oklahoma
« on: October 04, 2023, 04:15:07 AM »
Lankford was against kicking out McCarthy as Speaker of the house. This guy is a good example of the unwillingness of most Republicans today to take America back. Listen as he defends McCarthy and blasts Matt Gaetz. He is all for bills being passed that are so full of added BS, and so many pages long, they simply do not read it. He is the typical NWO Republican today. IMO, Gaetz did the right thing spearheading the effort that succeeded in ousting a Cal.Rino as speaker of the house.

The rinos have trouble handling Gaetz..because Gaetz takes no PAC money, and is not beholden to any PAC....  Give 'em fits !

Jim Jordan has thrown his hat into the ring. Maybe he'd be a good speaker.

I think he would be a good speaker. They are talking about bringing Newt G. back in as speaker.

He pushed NAFTA and GAT through telling the trucking industry how good it was gonna be for everyone. It was real good for Canada and Mexico, but I had to pay fees for stickers every year for my trucks, and they didn't.

I know of several small trucking businesses
that have closed up since NAFTA
I could have worked for 2 of them,  but didn't
want to jump through the hoops necessary to
try for a CDL.  I don't know any "old time "
truckers anymore.  I know 5 or 6 that drive,
and they're big time meth heads
They don't seem to have any problems getting
licenses and certifications

Correct me if I am mistaken, but it seems if for instance, Republicans choose Jim Jordan to be speaker, and all Democrats vote NO, then the Republicans must get all..every single Republican on board, if they are to bring it off.

Can they get every Republican on board ?

A little current history of Oklahoma. The republican governor of is trying to seize the Indian gambling in Oklahoma for the State of Oklahoma.
The Indians however, contribute heavily to local community schools, the communities themselves, and even county road projects.
This attempt has been going on since this governor took office, causing the tribes to support democratic candidates for certain Oklahoma state government positions.

As far as I'm aware, Ok gubmint has been trying to
figure a way to get in the casino's wallets since
Winstar and Choctaw turned out to be the huge
success they are.
Stealing from the tribal funds would probably
tickle the poop out of the gangsters in Shreveport
Bossier because Ok has been sucking up the DFW
money that people traditionally drove east to blow

IIRC the Ok casinos don't have the booze like
the La moneypits do. Or at least they didn't the
last time I sat foot in one.
All the black people around here still head east
instead of north, so that's why I was thinking that

Oklahomans know that the tribes are better help to Oklahoma communities than the state, and its citizens support the tribes.

Same thing here in nY State..  The indians have casinos and gambling wrapped up.  Democrat governors see the big bucks being made, and want to
get btheir dirty mitts on some of that money, so ythey start to harass the indians in many ways.

Hey, a deal is a deal..it was made a long time ago.. Don't go back on our word......leave the Indians alone..

Either Jordan or Goetz would be better than any others. As far as the Republican governor wanting more gambling money! Just goes to show you, most politicians are like a 2 bit crack whore on the street. No matter how many people they screw, they never have enough money!

He'd be down on my list. Not great, but much better than McCarthy. Big problem, some of the more conservative Republicans, like Roy, still think that Democrats, and RINO's still want to play the game, the old fashioned way. Sit down and negotiate. Their not playing that game anymore. It's their way, or the highway. And the ones who suffer the most, are the American people.

Roy was against Gaetz calling for his ouster. And he let it be known.  Roy is a question mark in some instances. There are 435 in the house of Reps, and 100 Senators. Out of that 535 sent to DC to do our bidding, only about 10% or less care about answering to us and the Constitution. The rest are for owning the world. Dc has outgrown the country and have much bigger goals. They may be forgetting about Russia and China :o

Trump officially endorsed Jim Jordan for speakership yesterday so look for the RINO Republicans to vote against him.
