I was talking with someone about traps and
trapping in general, and we talked some about
Victor traps. I have some assorted types of
various age, but they don't get used as much as
others I have. The rodent traps are used often
and I keep a couple of those set all the time.
It's looking to me like the Oneida Victor people
are probably gone out of business. The man
a few miles away that sells feed and related
goods no longer has any traps, and the
couple of catalogs I recently received in the
mail were not optimistic about Oneida Victor.
The F&T book doesn't have a listing for them,
and the Cumberland's book has a few with
the bold type notation " We have not received
our Victor Trap orders for the last couple of
years. . . " .
Can't help but wonder if they're on the way out
