Obviously, there are all kinds of problems with todays military...problems we never faced before..
Recruitment....What healthy, normal young man or woman woiuld volunteer to serve among a mob of misfits and perverts
whose prime identity seems to hang upon their sexual proclivity of perversion?
Patriotism.... The best troops are driven by patriotism. How can a young American maintain a high degree of patriotism,
when there are members of congress, who obviously are Communist, Hamas backing America haters?
Pay.... Patriots historically have been putting up with sub-civilian pay, just to serve their country. Recent disclosures
seem to show that the top leaders in our government, may be accepting money from potential adversaries. What is a young, idealistic American
to think?
Pride in serving.... I think every soldier, sailor, Marine, airman or guardsman...have at certain times, felt their chest swell
a bit and pulse pick up a notch, as in theirs' and other's presence....Old Glory was overhead ...flapping inn the breeze. With the corruption in
government exposed....and congress people, posturing for the enemy...how is a soldier to react?
I can recall in 1962...when after crossing the Atlantic on the USS Simon Buckner..we picked up a pilot at Dover, and sailed up through
the English channel. I suspect both England and France could see Old Glory..snapping in a brisk breeze high above the deck..
That was a moment of pride.. Not pride inmyself, but pride in those brave soldiers who crossed that same channel, just 18 years before,
liberating millions. How invigorating that was!
WE NEED A HOUSE CLEANING.....In government and the military...
