Now that they have settled, and wages have taken an astronomical boost, it looks like Toyota, VW, Nissan, Kia and Hyundai will be selling many more
   vehicles.

..And if Ford resists the extortion efforts...they may see a jump in sales...  Hiw big th ewage jump..see below.

Under the Stellantis contract, starting wages for new hires will rise 67% including cost-of-living adjustments to over $30 per hour, it said in a statement. Temporary workers will get raises of more than 165%, while workers at parts centers will get an immediate 76% increase if the contract is ratified.

Not sure about the other foreign company's, but the Honda plants here in Ohio usually follow the American company's lead, and give pay raises to their workers when the American company's do. Workers there will get the benefits without paying union dues. They better hope that the Fed's keep their word, and not raise interest rates for quite some time. You know the company's are going to raise the price of vehicles, and if interest goes up, will really slow down sales. Every car dealership on the radio around here, we'll buy your car, bring it in, pay you cash. Guess they make more money on a used car, than new ones. All the dealerships around here have half or less than they use to have in new cars on the lot. They've got to parking new cars/trucks, nose to nose instead of side by side. 2 vehicles take up 4-5 parking spots, just to make the lots look full. And if you do order a new vehicle, if not in stock, or the dealer can't find what you want, 6 month wait.
We keep trying peace, it usually doesn't work!!Remember(12/7/41)(9/11/01) gypsyman

Yes...used cars seem to have gone up dramatically in prices..likely because new cars are so costly..
