The Real Reason Russia Invaded The Ukraine

It was about GREEN ENERGY.

Just before Russia invaded The Ukraine, geologists had discovered huge deposits of LITHIUM. Imagine that.

So! Like all wars, its about MONEY!

Eastern Ukraine is where all of Ukraines mines are for coal, iron ore, lithium, etc.  Western Ukraine is mostly farming.  Also, Crimea had a large air base and a large naval base built by the Soviets.  Russia wanted them, because they were leasing them from Ukraine.  They wanted also a land bridge to Crimea.  They basically got what they wanted, and now are in a stale mate with Ukraine.  Neither can budge the other anymore.

I didn't say lithium wasn't found there. I just don't believe that was the reason Russia invaded Ukraine.  Anyway there are very large deposits of lithium here in the US. The greenies just won't let us extract it.  Do you think there is any truth to something the New York Times puts out? Even If I didn't have to pay to read the rag. I never would anyway. Its no different than believing what CNN, MSNBC, etc...puts out.

When I Looked up the lithium possibilities. There are many sites, that come up on the search. So yes, in this case, there are more than the New York Times saying that large lithium deposits were discovered just prior to the Russian invasion.
