:D Well.....................I did manage to survive the Kalamazoo Living History mzl show.  To a small degree at least.  I purchased another smoothbore in .62.  Made my J.P. Henry with a 44 inch bbl.  It is in flintlock form and I am really looking foreward to shooting it.  Still have not touched the triggers on the .75 Bess and the Gibbs,nor the Idian Trade musket in .62.  I am holding out for Monday to actually get some range time.  The kid with me( he is 26)managed to get a .62 rifle also that fit him very well.  It will be an interesting range time for sure.  I might have to subsist on bread and water for awhile but I think that it will be worth it in the long run...............stay safe.......King

:D King, I'm putting a .62 smoothie together right now, but I'm planning on subsisting on pizza and beer, this thing is going to take a while.

Yep,
Definitely too many rifles and not none of em gittin enough use.  Yer gonna havta start loanin em out to get em the use they need.  The line will be long, but full of distinguished shooters.

King,.... What'er you do'n,.... wait'n to shoot yore new guns,.... "ALL AT ONCE"????

I'm not sure it's healthy fer'a guy to have "thet much FUN",.... all in one-day!! :)

:-D   Moderation..............I keep saying that word,and the taste of if is rather......foul to me.  Not sure if I like this word.  I only plan on shooting two of the rifles on Monday.my .58 with its new peep sight(ladder type,now..... don't shoot me Rollingb,you either Crow-feather),and the .62 smoothie I got on Sat at the kazoo show.  Figure that and the two rookies with thier new toys is going to make for an interesting day to be sure.   Might even hook up the Chrony fer additional interest.  I am really chomping on the bit to shoot these,but I have to give a lecture on Sat. and Sun.,so that is going to cancell those two days.  Monday is gunna be D-Day and I have found that the buildup is a good part of the excitment.  Not sure if I can handle a lot more at this point.  Will let everyone know how they did.  I am sitting here twitching at the thought of touching em off.  I already have plenty of volenteers at the door to assist me in this endevour   Stay safe....King
