Every state has it's own set of laws concerning CCW. We have here in Ohio carry without a permit, or get a permit, your choice. What you have to watch for, is a business can put up a no carry sign at the entrance, and you can be prosecuted if you do carry in that business. And no one is allowed to carry in a bar/tavern or restaurant if alcohol is served. I've had one because when you buy a gun from a dealer, they don't have to do a background check with the fed's. One of the hurdle's we had, within a year of getting a CCW law, was the state had to pass a pre-emption law. Cities like Cleveland, Columbus and a couple others said, no carry in our city, we'll arrest you. Completely legal every where else. So they passed a pre-emption bill, no local law can be different than a state law. Found out it works for helmet laws too.
