Bufalo rifle barrel

:D Can any one tell me if I can get other barrels for my H&R buffalo rifle. I like the 45/70 barrel but I was just wondering if other barrels could be fit to my frame.

OK freddogs, get ready to be happy, any H&R Handirifle centerfire rifle barrel or shotgun barrel with the exception of the 10 Gauge can be fitted to it!!! Have fun now trying to decide which one you want first!!....<><....

The BC is the same SB 2 frame as all the other center fires, It is just finished diffrent. ( case hardened look) shotgun frames are diffrent as are 8)  rimfire frames.

:D , freddogs, the shotgun frames (and all frames designated as SB1) are the same dimensionally as all SB2 frames but are finished/heat treated differently.  Thats why SB1 frames are not inherently as strong as SB2 frames. That is the reason H&R will fit shotgun barrels to your rifle frames but will not fit high power rifle barrels to your shotgun frames. Hope this helps, it sounds confusing at first but at some point you will say, "OF COURSE, IT'S SO SIMPLE!!!", it's like riding a bike, difficult to get at first but one day it just comes to you....<><....
