The Texas Border. 25 For, 25 Indifferent
« on: January 26, 2024, 12:52:07 AM »
Is the country divided? OBVIOUSLY!

25 other states have sided with Texas Governor Greg Abbott to not only support, but assist Texas secure ou Texas/Mexico border.
All are western, and southern states. Divided is the obvious conclusion.

" All southern and western states"?

Not quite how other governors see it !

    https://governor.iowa.gov/press-release/2024-01-25/gov-reynolds-24-republican-governors-joint-statement-supporting-state-texas-constitutional-right

  From the article..here are the 25 states;

"Other signatories include: Governor Kay Ivey (AL), Governor Mike Dunleavy (AK), Governor Sarah Sanders (AR), Governor Ron DeSantis (FL), Governor Brian Kemp (GA), Governor Brad Little (ID), Governor Eric Holcomb (IN), Governor Jeff Landry (LA), Governor Tate Reeves (MS), Governor Mike Parson (MO), Governor Greg Gianforte (MT), Governor Jim Pillen (NE), Governor Joe Lombardo (NV), Governor Chris Sununu (NH), Governor Doug Burgum (ND), Governor Mike DeWine (OH), Governor Kevin Stitt (OK), Governor Henry McMaster (SC), Governor Kristi Noem (SD), Governor Bill Lee (TN), Governor Spencer Cox (UT), Governor Glenn Youngkin (VA), Governor Jim Justice (WV), and Governor Mark Gordon (WY).

Alaska,Idaho, Indiana, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming, don't strike
me as all southern & western states.

In fact, Kristi Noem..Gov of South Dakota, has offered to drive by herself, a load of razor wire down to Gov Abbott !

Interesting that Senate negotiators have been striving for weeks to finish a carefully negotiated compromise on border and immigration policy that is meant to tamp down the number of migrants who come to the U.S. border with Mexico. But now that negotiations have dragged for weeks, election-year politics and demands from Trump are weighing it down.

Or better yet, just expel all illegals and put the US Army down there to halt all entries and to shoot down all drones flying in drugs. Push the problem back into Mexico. And if Mexico doesn't like it, then tell them clean up their own shite, or live with it. We know this won't happen because both political parties are in cahoots to change the face of our country. Neither the DC Democrats or Republicans want Trump back in office because he try's to do what he was elected by the people to do.

Why should they negotiate.  The dems are ok with biden NOT enforcing the current law.  Why would anyone believe that if they get more money for ukraine that they would force him to enforce any new "negotiated" law?  Real negotiations require the parties to come in with clean hands.

FYI- our country was founded on compromise
https://www.ushistory.org/us/15d.asp

A good compromise, a good piece of legislation, is like a good sentence; or a good piece of music. Everybody can recognize it. They say, "Huh. It works. It makes sense."

You want comprimise?  How about this compromise...   Build the wall and close the border, as required by our Constitution.  Then send some funds
to the Ukraine..which Biden is already doing.

You want compromise, and that one...done in a spirit of doing what's best for the republic...many could go along with !

I'm betting you and the other Commies won't go for this 'compromise"..
