I don't know why, but instead of totally
forgetting about it, I pondered on it
some more.

There's obviously not 23 American billionaires
betting on the Stuporbowl, so it has to be
the peasants.
Last I understood, there were something
like 331 million peepuls in the nation.
Math has never been my strong suit, but
I'm figuring the average would be something
like each person in the nation betting around
$85.00 us dollars ( correct me if that's wrong)

Where'd all that spare cash come from
all of a sudden? I wish I had 85 spare
dollars to burn. I'd be stocking up on TP
and paper towels and hygiene essentials
and canned goods etc. etc. etc.

Same place a bunch of my neighbors gets theirs, right around 4th of July.  "Ain't gots no money" any other day of the year, but during that week, they're out there sending fistfuls skyward to watch burn up in a colorful and dramatic fashion.

Happens all the time here
There's 5 section 8's in a row to the
east,  and all their cars are late models,
and barbeques at least once a week,
Lots of expensive fireworks all the time,
the 3rd one has 2 large dogs that get
fed somehow.
The ones that get me are the welfare
types with many expensive tattoos and
a cigarette and a beer always in hand.

Oh well.  . . . I can't do anything about any
of it. There's just me, and thousands that
enable and make excuses for all of them
so it cancels me out

and malt likkah flowing like the rain did
