Hip waders

         Punched a quarter size  hole just above the ankle in my hip waders ,   have any success  patching one ,I'd like to here about it .

I have seen that done before, but never tried it. I'd say it is better than Shoegoo.

I'm pretty sure it depends on what material the waders are made of. Yes tire patch can work with the rubber waders. Many today are neopreme, or other materials like PVC coated nylon, polyester, and gortex.  A quarter size puncture is a big hole in hip waders.

Put patches inside and out so they will stick to each other through the hole.

     The 3M 5200 sealant  seems versatile enough for different materials .  Now the choice is  to whether to use the regular or quick set .

Now spray it with ‘FlexSeal’. Works on roof leaks. Comes in clear too.
