Praying to Mary, Another Catholic Lie
« on: February 16, 2024, 02:20:56 PM »
1st Timothy Chapter 2 verse 5: For there is one God, AND ONE MEDIATOR also BETWEEN GOD AND MEN, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS

This is just one of the 29 BIBLE verses that say the only way to reach GOD through prayer,  is through CHRIST.

Catholicism has been lying to the sheep for centuries for no other reason than dominant control.

Mary and all those other dead people cannot hear you. THEY'RE DEAD.

Common sense. God says there are no tears in Heaven. Do any of you believe anyone in Heaven could look down at this mess, and not cry?

Food for thought: they are dead and cannot hear you.

Although most of the Fathers and Doctors of the Church have taught that Mary died and was raised from the dead before being assumed into heaven, a number of twentieth century theologians argue that Mary never died but was transferred from earthly to heavenly existence without undergoing death.[1] Among them, Charles De Koninck challenges Theodule Maré, who suggests that Pope Pius XII was very careful in his formulation of the dogmatic formula to say “at the end of her earthly life” [expleto terrestris vitae cursu] rather than “at her death” to leave open the possibility that Mary never died.[2]

About the “dominant control” idea. Perhaps so. You are not the first to take that stand. One could, however, make the argument that all religions do the same. Bottom line: people seek comfort from their beliefs regardless of grander motives.

Christians take their marching orders from biblical scripture taken in proper context. Not from some religion that has made it up as it evolved.
As I stated, there are 29 scriptures agreeing with each other, as to the only one whom Christians are instructed to pray to.

Are you familiar with the “no true scotsman”line of thought?
