I agree and I too have been wondering,
I feel I may have caused his disappearance when. I asked him and Loyyd
If there was a way for them to back off one another, that they really were on the same team.
It backfired and they got into, Deep enough it got locked.
If this post restarts the fire I will delete it myself.

Just speculation on my part
Him or his family or the ranch he's
been working for might have been
affected by the huge wildfire in the
region he's at.
More than a million acres of farm and
ranch lands and homes and structures
have been consumed. The "news " people
said a couple of days ago that it's the
largest wildfire we've ever had.
More than 7000 head of cattle killed
last I heard.
Unknown numbers of wildlife destroyed.
Unknown number of human lives lost.
One fire chief killed in the line of duty.
The majority of hay and feed for the
livestock that was saved was destroyed,
and donated hay and feed from across the
state is being continuously trucked in
along with clothing and food and supplies
for survivors and evacuees.
Gov Abbott has been to the area at least
once to review the situation.
An electrical power supplier for the area
has said that they might maybe possibly
be maybe responsible for the initial fire
that started everything.

IMO Dee is likely as not assisting if not
directly affected by this huge mess, but
I couldn't say positively for sure

I'm sure yoofloob has news stories about
the whole disaster
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

He was not happy when Bill spanked Lloyd and He, and said he was not going to bother being here any more.

He does on occasion take breaks from posting here; he may or may not return.

I didn’t realize about the disaster with the fire!   I had no idea about where he lived never even took it into consideration. I’m so sorry, but I actually hope I’m right. I hope I caused the problem and that’s why he left and hopefully he’ll return and that he’s not in danger or his family or livestock has been hurt.
God Bless you Dee

Of ciourse I heard about the fires, but I thought Dee was still posting when thebfires started...and he would have spoken about them.

I read that the town called "Canadian", was one evacuated due to the fires.  I recall Dee saying he worked cattle in the Palo Duro canyon,
which is near 150 miles southwest of Canadian..   ...But I have no idea how large the fires are..

Seems though, looking at the map, we would have had a big story coming out of Pampa or Amarillo..

THIS is why he left, at least for awhile:

I'm gonna say this, and then I'm outta here. I never go on the attack until I get enough of lloyds BS. But I can only take so much. As long as I don't say anything, you let him rail on me as much as he wants and you never say a word. Which is why i started posting the catholic crap
I start firing back, and THEN you come in with this we crap are acting like a couple of 2nd graders. I post stuff that is in the news, if Lloyd doesn't like it, he declares it was directed at him. Apparently, you agree, so I guess Lloyd can control what's posted here.
I'm done with this BS. I'll consider myself banned.

We are a shell of the old GBO here on GBO Reloaded. Back in it's golden years, GBO was THE place to go to talk outdoors and some politics and stuff. All good things come and go. It takes a tremendous amount of time, physical, and mental work to Make it work. Bill and Matt did one Hell of a job. They needed to step back and take a break, and did. The new owners were just in it to make a buck. Not so with Bill and Son. They put their souls into it, and made it work.

Back when things were going strong, I volunteered to become a Moderator on the political, news and PB stove forums. If your going to have flare-ups and dissention, this is where it will happen. And BOY did it ever. It kept Bill, Matt and the Mods busy just refereeing the word fights. Bill had some well thought out rules in place, and the Mods. used them to keep the heat down. We tried to moderate without showing favoritism, but some didn't agree. You can't please everyone lol! One that thought I did was Charlie. To this day it bothers me, that he thought so up till he passed. In truth, I liked the guy, and agreed with 99% of his views, and I miss him. Dee and I have had our disagreements as well, and at times it became a problem. There are so few members today on Reloaded, that Bill can  do the enforcing of the rules by himself. Lloyd and Dee were going at it continuously, and it was time to put a stop to it, and Bill did. I'm enjoying being able to get into the conversations more now, and will only step in when it gets to far out of hand. Politics and religion tend to bring out the best in us. And sometimes the BEAST in us lol!

I come and go on this forum so I relate as to what is going on also. I am not taking up for anyone on this forum either but I can understand frustrations by others about what they perceive in what goes on in these discussions. I have had my disagreements with certain people on here and also to me it seems one sided at times. That is why I simply come and go as I please. Like said when religion and politics are involved it can definitely get heated. But the appearance of favoritism at least to me who gets chastised and who doesn't seems real. Like I said ( TO ME) . Not trying to start anything but to an outsider looking in that's my opinion.

Well, it takes TWO to tango, and Two to have an argument. When a discussion becomes personal, and people start calling names and acting like children, its time to put out the flame war, regardless to who's feelings it hurts.

Agreed on the IT takes two to tango, it's the putting out the flame that's questionable.

why are some fanning the flames? its over and done. dee left of his own accord and can come back today if he wants. i got the exact same talking to as he did. anyone here that really knows bill knows there is no favoritism. hes about as fair minded as they come. i wont dicuss my true feelings as to why he left because hes not here to defend himself. but it seems that there are more than dee and that need to let it go.
