Be alert! Watch where you spend your money.

Remember, it was some Tyson big shots who invested in "cattle futures" along with Hillary, back in the 1980s or 90s.  She invested $1,000 and got back $100,000.  Rush spoke often of this 'investment miracle'..

Caught this item couple days ago. Bad part, many store brands are major company's, like Tyson, putting a different name on it. Try to do business with a man that was 1 year younger then me in school. Took over his dad's supermarket, and does his own butchering. Has a list on the meat case were he gets his meats from, and all local farms. Find one of those, and tell all the chain supermarkets to put it where the sun don't shine!! :o

Where I used to live in KS the problem was finding a processor. The butcher/processing shops in the the region were all working to capacity. Had to get on a waiting list to fill a spot from a previous customer. Usually a one to two year wait.

Up here, IF,  -- one does not mind doing some driving, --  there are still a fair number of butcher shops, in the boonies  (some full retail and some just sell a little retail for locals) where one can get ones meat prepped.

only meat i buy at stores is pork buts and pork loin.  rest of it either comes from butcher shops or in the case of chicken from my son in laws mother who raises them or its meat i shoot myself. id do the pork too but its tough to compete with 2 dollar a lb pork. when i bought pigs it ended up costing twice that
