Tucker Carlson interviews Tulsi Gabbard
« on: March 26, 2024, 02:43:10 PM »
I have to say after watching this interview with Tulsi, I hope Trump picks her as a running mate against this cabal of evil people in DC.

I have nothing against Tulsi, but why must the Republicans pick from folks who are reformed Dummycratics?  Surely there must be someone who has always been a conservative that would be worth a shot at higher office.  I will admit to voting for some who used to be Dems, but finally wised up, but what about someone who was always wise enough not to have ever been on the wrong side?

She's a liberal at heart. If Trump picks her I won't even bother to go vote. No need, if he has a liberal dumocrap as VP he won't last long and then we'll have a dumocrap woman as pres. YUCK!

Although I do believe the selection of a VP doesn't have that much affect on the presidential race. Tulsi could have changed. Just like atheists change and come to Christ. Her past voting record is disturbing. 100% of the time for gun control bills, LGBQT issues, womans rights, taxing the wealthy, and environmental issues. So who knows. Is it just talk, because the democratic party hurt her feelings, or has she had a true change of heart. If Trump won by picking the globalist Pence, who supported the Trans Pacific Parternership as governor of Indiana. He can win with Tulsi.  Although there are better choices for Trump's VP.

Unlike the Dems, the Reps have a wealth of VP prospects to choose from. Likely, demographics etc. will be considered and focus groups assembled
and questioned before the choice is made.

In this election, the VP choice is very important IMO..since now perhaps more than ever, the narrow group of independants will elect the next
president...and who the VP choice is, can make the difference.

I read that Rand Paul is on Trump's short list.  He would be a good one.  He don't go along with what even his own party does sometime.  He wants to get rid of the Federal Reserve and go back on the gold standard.

Ronald Reagan, one of the most beloved presidents ever was a Democrat before he was a Republican.
George Wallace was a Democrat who defied the Federal Government. If Wallace came back today would he be a Democrat? No Way!

Donald Trump ran and is running as a Republican. He was a one time a Democrat voter. Fact is he is a Conservative populist, Not a modern day NWO Republican. The Democrat parties in DC are Socialist, and the Republican party has become the NWO leaders. Neither party are representing the people who make up our country. Truth told....Trump is hated as much or more by members in his own political party as the Democrats who are more vocal about it. There are only a few true Conservatives left in the Republican party.

Rand Paul comes to mind, but in truth his beliefs run more Libertarian than Republican. He knew he couldn't win an election as one, so he and other like minded people choose the Republican party, who's political platform lean more Libertarian in policies.

I believe Trump needs to pick a person who can contribute to his re-election. I think she could do this, and would be a better choice than a Pence, Romney, or Bush type republican.

The country is lost anyway, if the States cannot exercise their power to make a change. DC will not be fixed from within. The Federal government is too corrupted to change on it's own. JMO

I’m gonna say the unspoken part. If I were running for President and she came with a leash, knee pads and a box full of lingerie, I’d take her on as vp :)...

I wasn't addressing any of those people only Tulsi. I think Mule has the only use for her all figured out. I do NOT trust her as far as I can throw her and these days about the only thing I can throw is a pillow and I can't throw that very far.

Being from Bama myself I voted for George Wallace and would again. Yes in those long ago days he was a democrat and so was I. Back then it actually represented the working man unlike today. Yes today if he were to return from the dead he would be a republican.

Although I have a lot of respect for Tulsi because she did not always toe the Democrat line.  Even on liberal policies, she was able to give well thought out reasons for her stance, not that I agreed with them. I'm happy to see that she has transitioned away from the Democrat party, but she is going to have to EARN my trust in her before I'd vote for her...unless my only choices were between her and our current idiot.

Onme thing we have to keep in mind......

Yes, we want Trump as president...but if we want him elected, we may have to nominate somebody to fit the wavering demographic.

If Blacks need somebody in the first two slots.maybe Byron Donalds, If women are a lagging demographic..perhaps Tulsi..if the heartland needs a
   boost..perhaps Rand Paul..

However we must keep in mind, somebody like rand Paul for instance..as much as we may want him, is so close politically to Trump, that he may
not attract certain fringe votes that we may desperately need.

BTW: The interview is worth watching, just to add a bit more political awareness...

The VP candidate needs to offer something to fringe voters that Trump cannot offer... but still be palateable to the rest of us, should he/she
     someday ascend to the presidency.

You could be right. Politics is a messy business at best. I don't rust anyone in politics. We just have to go with our gut feeling if and when we vote. We don't actually know any of them. I do know I'm no longer voting for a damn neocon, if I can help it. I voted for two in my lifetime and they were both a Bush. Wallace and Goldwater might run as an independent today. They might be sick of both parties.  Hard to say, but I will vote Trump anyway, and hope he makes better choices for VP and cabinet members this time around.
