A prayer please
« on: March 28, 2024, 11:56:06 AM »
90 some odd year old neighbor
lady fell in her house and hurt
herself at some unknown time
and laid on the floor until the
caregiver came for the regular
routine.
I haven't heard anything more
since she was transported to
the hospital
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

Prayers out,  --  it may be mild, -- my Aunt , who I had take care charge of -- once slipped out of a chair and just sat on the ground till the payed help arrived.
She had a emergency button and when asked why she did not hit it, she said -- I did not want the police coming and breaking the door open.

Prayers sent up...  Hope she comes back around to being ambulatory soon.

One of the daughters sent me a message
late before 12
Neighbor lady is ok
Nothing major fortunately
Overnight's worth of medication and observation
Might be back in a day or two

Thanks for the consideration
There's way too many more elderly that
more than likely won't have a good outcome.
I wish I had given more consideration and
respect to my elderly relatives when I was
younger. I  should have listened more and
appreciated the knowledge that they had
to share.  At least I had the opportunity to
halp my granny and learn some of what she
had to show me about gardening, cooking,
making soap,  etc.
A good bit of the old fashioned things that
they did to survive in the old times
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

Good to hear she is doing better and can return back home in a day or so. Looking back it's hard for a young person to understand the limitations an older person faces. I share your regrets on not doing more listening and dismissing what my elders had to share decades back.
