From what I have read, It seems that after many years of shunning..eggs have won a health reprieve...  Bacon?  I'm not so sure about that ..

When you click on the link a box pops up saying video unavailable, but under that if you click on Watch on YouTube you can view it.
I eat at least 3 eggs a day, and have been for a number of years. I think they are the most nutricious food there is. Back when it was all over the news saying you should limit your egg consumption because of colesterol. My mom would say that information was hogwash, and she was right.
I believe Sten Ekberg knows what he is talking about, and have watched many of his videos. As he says, its about insulin resistance. We are told to not eat to many eggs, butter, bacon, etc. Yet not much is said about all the sugar people eat and their insulin levels. Guess since so many foods are packed with sugar, its not talked about. As Ekberg said about bacon. Its not the bacon, its what you eat with it that matters.  Want to eat healthy? Eat eggs cooked in rugular butter, and bacon, but don't drink the fruit juice, or orange juice that is loaded with sugar. Limit the bread you eat with it, and skip the donut or cinnamon roll.

IMO cane sugar isn't bad for you
as much as corn syrup and high
fructose corn syrup and the laboratory
made artificial sweeteners.
In my folks time when they were
young and worked on farms,
they used lots of sugar and raised
sugar cane and made cane syrup
and probably consumed as much
plain old sugar and ribbon cane
syrup and pure honey as 2 people
do now.
They didn't have any kinds of
artificial sweeteners and the chemical
junk we have today.
FWIW diabetes was pretty rare in
their time just like food allergies
unlike what we have today.

Many don't realize that the reason
that artificial sweeteners like HFCS
are used so much today is that
they're cheaper, not because they're
better.
My folks consumed what today's
doctors would say is an unhealthy
amount of sugars and meat and
meat grease and salt. But they
didn't have the amounts of nearly
fatal food related illnesses that
we have today

I've heard a bunch of bs medical
advice in my short lifetime, and
most of it see-saws back and forth
between being a killer and a life
giving nutritional source.
I've heard eggs are bad- eggs are good
beans are bad- beans are good
Tomatoes.  .
Potatoes.  .
Onions.  . .
Bacon and cured meat.  . . .
Cold drinks.  . .
Pastries and cakes.  . .
Etc.   Etc.

Just name anything, and they'll
condemn it one year and praise
it the next
Not that gubmint research grants
have anything to do with the
confusion. . . . Lordy no ! No way  :o

Always figured most health problems are genetic and then tie into what a person eats if they are genetically predisposed to a particular health problem that gives them trouble.

I started Keto about 4 months ago now and dropped from 212 to 197 after about a month or so then switched to primarily carnivore and have dropped down to 151 but came back up to 167 and holding there. Feel much better, more clearer mind and my testosterone levels have soared to higher than they have been in the 2 years I have been getting tested. ( No Shots Used in almost a year ).

I have chickens and get on average 12 eggs a day so we eat a lot of eggs, and bacon...

I had chickens for about 10 years straight, then gave them away about 8 months ago. I was tired of supplying eggs to everyone in the family without anyone offering to buy an occasional bag of expensive feed, help cleaning the pen or even a thanks. I had also reached a point of not wanting to eat a single egg anymore. Now, after getting rid of them, I can't start the day without eggs for breakfast. (Go figure) ;D

I really believe genetics plays a huge role. My MIL lived to 99 years and ate anything she wanted. My mother had quadruple bypass surgery at 60 years eating nothing out of the ordinary. Watch how much you eat, exercise regularly and above all, cut out refined sugars as much as possible.

Intyeresting..   Due to a medical condition, Jordan Peterson's daughter Mikhalia, went on a total carnivore diet.

After several years, she seems to be doing OK..   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cp5tbtNCmk8

Most everybody in the nation that's able
would be in way better health if they
wouldn't ride the couch so much and
did plain old fashioned chores like
were done a century ago.
Take out their trash, mow the grass
and have a vegetable garden, do the
dishes ( by hand- they get cleaner with
less water used and no electricity)
and vaccuum the floor, etc.
People have automatic robotic machines
to do everything for them, then pay
hundreds every year to go "work out "
at a gym/ fitness club
