OOPS-Shouldn't have passed that law!
« on: May 06, 2024, 04:52:06 AM »
NYPost article. Seems a NY Senator Kevin Parker has had rape charges bought against him from 2004. A woman was working with him on Haiti relief funds, she came back from there with picture's of the hurricane, he met her at her apartment, and report ably, assaulted her. She using the Adult Survivors Act, which he helped pass so that E. Jean Carroll could use against Trump. He might regret that one! Read the article, she couldn't find any of that 10 million dollars that the Clintons raised to help out either!!  ;D

There'll be lying "victims " until
accusers that are proven to be
false are tried and incarcerated
at the same rate that the falsely
accused attacker would be punished
at. Rapist gets 20 years on conviction,
false accuser gets 20 years,  etc.
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

It would seem that like any other crime, there should be a statute of limitations applied.  The way it is now, where politicians have extended
prosecution (persecution?) to a never ending threat.

By never ending, I am not even speaking of an actual crime.  I and likely most anyone here have nothing to hide...but if we happen to rub some political group the wrong way, we could end up charged to a point where we could lose oiur freedom by false charges...when some paid operative brings up that supposedly happened, June 20, 1993 !

How does one defend themselves?  ..Real witnesses would be hard to find..if they are still alive. Besides, how does a witness prove a negative...that the defendant did not do such and such....while politically lying witnesses, can claim anything..

I have talked to sensible women (those not emotionally driven)..and they say,....
" if the act was not egregious enough to charge at the time, how is it any worse 30 years later?  On the other hand, some could be
intimidated..and hold off charging for some time..so a statute of limitations like most other crimes, is not unreasonable.  On the other hand,
if this happened in a work setting and the 'victin' maintained their work relationship..just how horrific was it ?

e.g....the case used against judge Kavanaugh...the situation supposedly happened what..40 years ago, after a high school prom?  The "victim'
could remember almost nothing of the incident, her witnesses for the most part denied the story. Yet some gave her credibility..why?

 My first thought in many of these cases..especially the political, or where big bucks of potential hush money may be involved;

If it dosn't bother them enough 25 years ago...what are they so wounded now?  ...And did any such a situation even happen?

I sorta figure iffen it ain't important enough to report within 6 months then it prolly didn't really happen the way they say it did 20 years later.

Is it possible his accusers just saw "deep pockets" ?
