..But.... "let's not throw out the baby with the bathwater". There are plenty of good ministries out there..and the domicile where they reside, can
provide a clue.
As shown in the photos, many preachers live in modest homes. Keep in mind also, and be wary of those ministries which are "emotion driven"..
People who let their emotions drive their decisions, tend to elevate the local under shepherd, as some kind of demigod.
I once heard Joyce Meyer tell her "flock" to..not think with their head..but with their heart (emotions) !
So, naturally, my thoughts went to. (Jeremiaj 17:9,10)
"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it"? However, we should not overlook the following admonition;
"not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25)
