$3 Trillion..to "save the planet"...
« on: July 29, 2024, 03:27:56 AM »
Yep...treasury secy Yellen wants to p_ ss away $3 trillion every year to "save the planet"..  Save the planet from what?  It may be worth it, if it would
save the planet from the leftists, communists and their useful idiots..

   https://www.frontpagemag.com/treasury-sec-yellen-wants-3-trillion-a-year-to-save-planet/

Sadly, even if their green scam were true, $3 Trillion per year cannot be afforded by ANY world economy.  Besides, why should
we spend ourselves into a hole, while China, Russia, North Korea, Venezuela and other commie/tyrannicval countries go right on, each producing
pollution far beyond what the USA does?

If they really wanted to green up power production.

1). They should build more nuclear power plants.  Small ones can be made that do not melt down.  About the size to fit a tractor-trailer truck.  Cluster them together and make a lot of power.

2). The power grid needs to be protected from an EMP whether nuclear in space above Kansas to knock out all the power in North America or a giant solar flare.  Newt Gingrich tried to get them to spend about $200 million over a few years to do this, but he was turned down.

3). New or upgraded transmission lines have to be built from wind and solar farms to where people live.  Only 22% of the wind power from West Texas gets to East Texas where most of the people in Texas lives because of not enough or upgraded transmission line.  New transmission lines made from carbon fiber can transmit twice the power of the older aluminum-steel power lines.  That means 44% could get to East Texas or from the high plains to the Mississippi and further east with new but more expensive carbon fiber lines.

4).  The grid has to be upgraded and power increased due to AI needing 20% of the grid power when fully functional.  Then every electric car uses as much power as two homes charging.  The power production has to be increased.  Otherwise we are going to have black outs and brown outs.

5).  Tesla has improved electric cars a long way from what was, but we still need faster charging, longer range, and lower prices on electric cars.  We are not there yet, and it may take another 20-30 years, not 10 like the libs say.  Money should be spent solving this problem first before wholesale stopping production of electric cars.

6).  Elon Musk is aware of this, and says we must drill and make more gasoline and diesel as cars produced today will still be around in 15-20 years.  Same with trucks, and trains last at least 50 years before they are retired.  Then there is aircraft and jet fuel as well as fuel oil for ships.  But, the left doesn't listen to him anymore as he bought Twitter, now called X and opened it up for FREE SPEECH.

Of course the left considers everyone on the right to be peons and listen to emotion instead of logic.

They could care less about the planet, the people living on it, and creating green energy. Its all about the transfer of wealth, and the ability to rule over the masses. They have people fooled into thinking its about green energy.

The end price tag that brain dead yellen claims is a measly 78 trillion, of course would never go over budget considering she is spending other people’s money and those profiting are the U.S.A.’s enemies.

^^^ The truth condensed^^^  The whole green craze is just another Marxist game of trying to gain power and influence.  Even it were true that
CO2 were such a threat, it coud be mitigated by "catbon farming"..

Have we seen ANY effort by the eco-freaks to cooperate in such efforts?  Efforts which could truly make the earth "greener", plus feed some of
the starving people in this world.

In fact, by employing carbon farming methods, and applied training... some of these starving people could help to feed themselves..

Maybe someone should inform the greenies that by consuming vegetation, they are destroying carbon users and plants that store carbon and then themselves emit the carbon :). Let’s not forget the obnoxious gas emitted from their mouths, errr, anus...

Common knowledge..and "established science"..
We (and animals) consume oxygen and give off carbon dioxide...  Plants consume carbon dioxide and give off oxygen.

God knew what He was doing on the day of creation..  So, if there were such an over abundance of carbon dioxide out there in the atmosphere
we would have grass, trees, vines and other plant life crawling all over us !

However there is one fact that Marx, Hitler, Stalin and chairman Mao understood well..namely..

"If you repeat a lie over and over long enough, there  are millions of naive, gullible people who are both willing and able enough to
       believe the biggest lies."

Because of higher carbon dioxide levels the last few years, NASA has shown the earth is now 20% greener than before.  Certain areas of desert have started getting a little more rain and grass and trees are coming back into those areas.  It will eventually reach a balance where carbon dioxide will begin to decrease.

I heard the talk between Musk and Trump.  Musk thinks we have more like 100 years to get electric cars, wind, solar, and nuclear power to replace coal, natural gas, fuel oil, gasoline and diesel.  In the meantime he also thinks we should drill.  He doesn't believe in mandates, but gradual switchover to alternative energy over a longer period of time.  Forcing and mandating will create higher prices, recessions, shortages, etc.  It never works.

The government didn't mandate we give up horse and buggy for automobiles, it happened on it's own.  Neither did they mandate telephone or telegraph use.  Government has recently tried to subsidize getting high speed internet to rural areas for billions.  Not working very well as most rural users are buying Starlink satellite dishes which are very small, fairly cheap, but service is more expensive than cable, but rural people don't seem to care.  The government never mandated radio stations or TV stations all over the country nor did they subsidize them, it happened on its own.  Electric vehicles will happen on their own as range, price, and recharging times all come within reasonable time and price.

No liberal is thinking about the grid, improving transmission lines by 50% with carbon fiber wiring, building more nuclear power facilities, building solar panels over parking lots and flat top buildings instead of farmland.  Get this done first and while at it make them EMP proof then we can talk about electric cars and power using AI.

Elon Musk has a brilliant mind which is operating on a level many of us cannot comprehend. His sense of morality is bringing innovation Into The Human Experience on levels that will improve Mankind's position in the universe. His desire to colonize on Mars is an attempt to prevent a catastrophic collapse on the Earth from eliminating humans in the universe. His overriding concern is that artificial intelligence will, if it has not already, become self-aware to the point that AI deems humans as a virus to be controlled and eradicated. He is also morally aware that there will be those who will use artificial intelligence for the control of humans, which is not the objective of AI in his worldview.

Musk has been pushing congress for about 10 years about making laws for robotics and artificial intelligence, such as the science fiction writer Isaac Asimov, of the 3 laws:

1.    A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2.    A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3.    A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First and Second Laws.

This seems reasonable, but congress kind of scoffed at their duty.  Some new AI is political and not neutral, so Musk has created Grok AI.  Recently Google AI said Trump was not shot, but Grok told the truth.  We checked ourselves, same with other stuff recently.  They are trying to shut down conservatives and conservative narriative.  If you get on X and get premium X, you get Grok.  X said over 1 billion people listened to or watched Musk's interview with Trump.  Harris has declined to be interviewed by Musk.

Once reason X, old Twitter, is still going strong, regardless of what liberals say, is Musk got rid of all the people who were deleting or silencing conservatives and conservative views.

When I have to decide whether it is Congress or Musk, who is more likely to be talking intelligently.... It has to be Musk...no contest !
