Walz--another loser
« on: August 13, 2024, 03:26:13 AM »
Seems like Harris sure picked a winner of a VP in this Walz guy. Haven't seen one good word from any of National Guard unit members he served with. Soon as he knew his unit was going overseas, quit and became a politician. And,as governor, didn't call up any National Guard when the Floyd riots were starting up, waited 2 days to do that. Found out he's another Gov. like Whitmer and Coumo, stacked COVID patients into nursing homes, any wonder why the graphics of why people over the age of 75 dying from covid is so high? He's signed bills allowing abortion up to the time of birth, kids under the age of 18 can get a sex change without their parents consent. Not sure how much further liberal/left a person can go?

I would say the Walz pick was consistent with her lack of judgement, or the vastness of her incompetence, but we all know she had nothing to do with who was selected. She gets her marching orders every day, says what ‘they’ tell her to and cheerfully goes about her merry life of ignorance. Hoping all the while that nobody will ask her something she has no clue about. And that’s a big world of clueless.

There are about 18 million living veterans living in the USA today. That is approx. 6% of the adult population. A large number of those Vets are Democrats, and veterans tend to stick together when it comes to the stolen valor issue. It would appear the Dems made a bad choice when it came to a VP choice for the Cackler. They could love some precious votes because of it. "One can hope"

If they love their children and grandchildren I’d hope they would compare records of accomplishments between the Trump and Biden presidency and not just get their information spoon fed to them by propaganda news sources.

I am Not so sure you have the percentage of US Military Vets who are Demshoviks correctly tabulated. I think you are mistaken in that amount of Veterans who are Demshoviks.

I have not yet done the research & just who DOES that sort of research to find out more about such things;
, but As a US Military Veteran & actually talk to a LOT of them in MINNESOTA, ( VFW/Amer. Legion) most days/nights, I think your info may not be as correct as ya might think it is correct.

Maybe, when I get some time and actually think it is worth the time...  I will look into this in a deep manner.
When I have the time, eventually do some research such things.

Although, I am pretty sure though.... that as bad as things are/might be, that economically & for our standing by in the US Population, WE,  as Veterans, are for what we hold as Honorable as Vets;

We know what we stood up for when we took those oaths, and were willing to lose our live & limbs to make our oaths to the US Constitution make a difference...

to hold such oaths & make sure we Knew our DUTY, so as to Defend such values against ALL ENEMIES FOREIGN & DOMESTIC...

I think that MAGA is more than likely well represented by VETERANS & not the other way around..

YMMV, & until I go look things up(research) I will wait to make more of a point about such things.

Be assured though, I am MAGA & a Veteran, & have NO issue with, "calling them as I see them.".

Right or Wrong...  MAGA is the RIGHT THING, IMO.

Otherwise we no longer have a Democratic Representative Constitutional REPUBLIC. (N It is NOT a "Democracy".  Read what the Founders of this country had to say about that BS IF ya don't know....)

Once again, YMMV.

(Unless some folks are commies/socialists/marxist/leftists, then they are just Un - American POS. Ya'll get to make THAT CHOICE. Make good Choices. )

You are aware that he announced four months ahead of when deployment orders came out and submitted the paperwork two months ahead. Sure, I suppose he could have been aware that they MIGHT be deployed. But then Walz MIGHT have been deployed anytime in those 24 years. Walz served honorably for 24 years and Vance??? Going to have to try harder to smear a good man.

Oh ... Doggone... The TDS is strong in this one.

I am going to restrict my replies to this one as it seems to be a waste of time.
This one doesn't reply unless to stir up crap, cannot reply with any FACTS, but only innuendo , rumors & plain out BS.

Not worth my time.

Ya'll can do what ya like. I have better things to do then accommodate mentally ill folks who don't understand reality very much & live in some sort of Fantasy land of their own making & think it is real.

Ironglow,

Some folks are a bit more intelligent than others & are faster on the "uptake" of info, that allows them to get a good grasp of what is BS & what is not. They are a bit more of the ones ya want to be in the same foxhhole, or on patrol with ya, etc.

Others are kind of, "half-stepping" and just "don't walk the walk " like others, but are still there, being around to fill in the ranks.

If ya know what I mean , ya know what I mean.
If not... Never-mind. Doesn't matter.
;)

There is certainly an "allowance" for folks who have served.
Some are "Fast on the uptake on info & Up to speed when a mission needs to be done", and others tend to run a bit off from "Full Ahead" & seem to have the mentality of, "Well, I am here" what we gonna do now?", mentality.
Not in anyway some , "Go- Getter Done" type folks.

I am not gonna say any more that that, as it serves no purpose to say more. Any VETERAN deserves to be recognized for their Duty when Honorable Service was performed.

Those who understand, understand. Those who don't.. likely won't ever.

IF... Ya know what I mean.

;)

P.S.. -Something to think about for those who may not have done so yet...
Just remember that on the Intelligence Quotient (I.Q) scale, with a score of 100 as the "Average", 50% are above that average & 50% are BELOW that average.

Something to ponder as ya deal with folks in your everyday life.
;)

Cya~!

More questions about Walz. Seems he made quite a few trips to China, and his security clearance was in question. And, 250 million disappeared from the Minnesota coffers that was for schools and federal food money. Wonder where that all went? Several people have been charged, but, he was the governor, must have been to busy putting tampon machine's in the boys bathrooms.

Good self assessment as you are losing your hearing. Below was also in his speech. The part you went "La, La,La" too.

Democracy, Donald Trump, election interference, House Select Committee on January 6, January 6th Attack on US Capitol, Mike Pence, Special Counsel Jack Smith, Trump Indictment

Earlier today, former President Donald Trump once again claimed he bore no responsibility for the violence at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. “I said peacefully and patriotically,” Trump told reporters. That has been a persistent theme of his for years. The former president was repeating part of a short sentence culled from his lengthy speech at the White House Ellipse on Jan. 6, 2021. By focusing on that brief phrase, Trump is trying to deceive both the courts and the public. He wants people to focus on a short passage in which he told his supporters to march “peacefully and patriotically” to the Capitol, while ignoring all the inflammatory rhetoric he employed during the same speech.

With the federal election conspiracy case likely now on track for summer 2024 and Trump making many more public appearances over the course of this year, we can expect to see this line of defense play out in both the court of public opinion and in the run-up to the federal criminal trial (and the Georgia one where a 2024 trial has also been requested by prosecutors).

As we explain in detail below, Trump’s defense should fail in both those tribunals. We expect prosecutors will explain to the jurors why the sentence in the Ellipse speech is, in actuality, more incriminating than exculpatory when understood in context. Indeed, evidence uncovered by the January 6th Select Committee shows that Trump deliberately and repeatedly implored his followers to “fight” – and was reticent to use the word “peaceful” at all.  Recent revelations of evidence gathered by Special Counsel Jack Smith will also help prove the case.

As we ramp up to trial, the general public should also not be led astray by the discourse. That requires journalists, commentators, and others to understand and communicate the truth about Trump’s Jan. 6 speech and other statements. We offer this essay as a contribution to that effort as well.
Trump’s Claimed Line of Defense

The key sentence in the Jan. 6 Ellipse speech, according to Trump and his attorneys, is this one:

“I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”

Trump and his lawyers have made that sentence a centerpiece of his defense since the very first legal proceeding arising out of Jan. 6– namely, his impeachment and Senate trial. Trump’s Oct. 13, 2022 letter to the January 6th Select Committee bore the heading, “PEACEFULLY AND PATRIOTICALLY” in all caps. Where the law now threatens him most, in a DC federal court, Trump and his lawyers claim that he does not bear any criminal responsibility for the events that followed his speech on Jan. 6, 2021, because he encouraged his supporters to march “peacefully and patriotically” down to the Capitol.
Assessing the Full Record

The full weight of the evidence – first collected by the January 6th Select Committee and now Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office – tells a very different story. And it is a damning one for Trump’s defense. Indeed, the record includes strong evidence that Trump supported the use of violence on Jan. 6 and tried to use it to his political advantage to block the certification of the election. That is in the context in which the one reference to “peacefully and patriotically” in the Ellipse speech will be understood by the jury and should be understood by the American public.

The January 6th Select Committee found that the words “peacefully and patriotically” were drafted by Trump’s speechwriters – not Trump. Those two words were also completely at odds with the rest of Trump’s highly inflammatory remarks, during which he retold multiple lies about the election and directed the crowd’s anger at Vice President Pence and lawmakers. While Trump uttered the word “peacefully” just one time during his speech, which lasted more than an hour, he used variations of the word “fight” 20 times. That was Trump’s authentic voice. Though Trump knew the assembled crowd was “angry,” he ad-libbed the word “fight” on approximately 18 occasions. Trump also personally added multiple incendiary lines, including this one:

“We fight like Hell and if you don’t fight like Hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.”

Considering that the special counsel in this case is Jack Smith, who's being investigated, puts this case right in the Stormy Daniels and Michael Avenatti category. Didn't work out so well for Avenatti did it!

I am still pretty sure that there is a decent amount of difference between, "Most" & " Some".

Regardless, I have some other things that are occupying my time right now, other than political stuff, and have not yet felt the need to ponder it more than I already have with the earlier reply/comment to you that I made back then..

Our points have both been made & I think we understand each other. At least I hope that would be the case.

( If I am mistaken about the above, feel free to let me know. I check in once in a while, or at least , have been lately, & will likely see a reply/comment from ya, if you care to make more of a discussion about such things.)

Guzzi is just following the drum beat of the Marxist news media outlets he watches. Again No truth to his comment what so ever.

You are aware that he announced four months ahead of when deployment orders came out and submitted the paperwork two months ahead. Sure, I suppose he could have been aware that they MIGHT be deployed.
GuzziJohn

Quote Guzzi; " [But then Walz MIGHT have been deployed anytime in those 24 years. Walz served honorably for 24 years and Vance??? Going to have to try harder to smear a good man.

Problem being, not when Tampon Tim served, but that he claimed to have carried an "assault type rifle" in combat.  Hewas never in a combat zone, while Vance did serve in Iraq during that conflict...and likely carried a rifle, or at least a handgun.

Tim Awol has a strange past with gun legislation.  While he was holding an elective office in a rural area of  Minnesota, he was pro 2nd amendment, and scored well with ythe NRA..
..But when he decided to move up in Demonrat ranks, he suddenly switched to a virulent anti 2nd amendment stance...

It appears the only "action" he seen, is the burning of Minneapolis   which he apparently didn't mind...with his wife saying she "kept the windows open" during the shameful riots, because she liked the smell of the tires burning downtown.

Below; Tampon Tim's action photos, one of Timmy posing with a shotgun, whish he likely knows little about

BTW... According to my grandson who served in 2 deployments as a Marine in Iraq...if Timmy had served there, he would have raised H _ _ _ over those raised windows.

He would have been really sick and tired of the smell of burning tires..
