  From DDZ;

" I've read his posts for years, and I don't believe he is trolling. I think he is just a delusional misinformed leftist, that hates Trump, and hates America. He has been brain washed through our educational system, just as many others have."

I have to agree...our dis-educational system is a roaring failure...by Marxist design..  My youngest brother is a product of same, having spent his
entire work life in that occupation.

Although he is normally very bright, his lamp drops wattage to near diasppearance, when the subject comes to political knowledge.

When election season comes around..his otherwise active brain seems to go into a state of suspended animation...critical reasoning is defunct.

This seems to be an almost universal flaw with most "educators"..

I lay this malady to lack of experience.. Let's face it , like most others, teachers start early in kindergarden..then grade school, middle school, high school and perhaps college.  ..Butv unlike the rest of us, they never leave the class room !

When the rest of us have to go on , dealing with w plethora of other situations, and working with adult persons in a wide world, the teacher spends
his/her  now for some, IT'S day, dealing with young , inedperienced and maleable minds..rarely dealing with mature minds,

Thes mature minds, working and living in the real world competeing..perhaps a butcher, baker, engineer, bricklayer, soldier or lab tech..

We in the world, as adults in the real world, are blessed with such a wide panoply of experiences in everyday life, we almost must feel pity for
those caught up in a single lane life "bubble"....dealing primarily with young, inquiring minds that as of yet, have little to offer a wisened adult.

Then there is their national union the NEA..  Here is the NEA PRESIDENT...  President..so she must be among their "brightest and best"..

To the OP, he was invited by family members of those killed to the ANC. Simple enough and irrefutably the truth.

https://www.newsmax.com/us/donald-trump-kamala-harris-gold-star-families/2024/09/01/id/1178693/

They felt strongly enough about the disinformation and outright lies they felt compelled to take out an ad along with publicly speaking out about it plain and simple.

Over the last 50 years, our 2 political parties have picked their way toward their natuiral allies.. one leans toward Satan an done leans toward Jesus...Now they are clearly aligned with their appropriate "bosses"..

So look below, and see who obviously, lines up on the left and who leads from the right..

That absolutely is the irrefutable truth.  Shoes how pathetic the OP's intent is to belittle Trump. Trump is spot on in saying Biden, and Kamala killed their sons through gross incompetence. Yet not one bureaucrat was fired for the gross incompetence.

Both Trump an dthe Biden/Harris team were invited by the gold star families, to attend servoces at Arlington.  However, Pres Trump was the ONLY
one to show up.  Here is a video of an interview with one of the mourners, proving the case.  You can skip the first 2:30, since it is just a talking head
   making an introduction.

Since they would be welcomed by the waiting gold star parents, all I can figure is that Neither Biden nor Harris felt able to properly articulate at such a ceremony..

In my 18 years or so from the orig. GBO to now on GBO reloaded, I've seen more trolls than you can shake a stick at come and go, and some come and stay. Sparing on the political forum is what it's all about. When we don't have a leftist Troll in our conservative midst, we fight among our selves. You should expect this. It's what we humans do. If it irritates you, just find another way of entertaining yourself. As far as trolls go, old Guzz isn't in the top 100 Trolls who's fanned the flames here. Some of you folks who have been here as long as I have or even longer remember some of the Top Trolls that put this leftist Skewl teacher to shame. Enjoy the ride GJBINMIN. IG: “ our dis-educational system is a roaring failure...by Marxist design..” Where do you get these ideas from? You have Marxism on the brain. Do you have one iota of proof that what you have said is so? Please understand that in the USA the “educational system” is controlled at the local level. One district’s choice of textbooks and its syllabus may be entirely different than a neighboring district.
Note: “ Education is primarily a State and local responsibility in the United States. It is States and communities, as well as public and private organizations of all kinds, that establish schools and colleges, develop curricula, and determine requirements for enrollment and graduation. ” from the U.S. Dept of Education.

Socialism and Marxism was taught in college, in which the teachers relay this to students today.  You have to really watch what the kids are being taught also.  I was in college in the 1970's and 80's.  By the late 70's almost all the kids in college thought socialism was the only answer for what they considered inequalities and the professors encouraged this thinking.  Yet, everywhere socialism is tried it fails.  It has failed in Western Europe, even though they allow capitalism, they have so many taxes and programs to try to keep everyone on the same level, they have not developed any new companies in the last 30-40 years that disrupt the status quo.  America in the meantime has developed cell phones, pads, improved computers, electric cars, reusable rockets, and robotics.  Europe is way behind in innovation and invention.  Now they are restricting free speech.  England seems to now be lost.  They will jail you for 5 years for a Facebook post.  Muslims have taken over.  They have a Muslim mayor of London and a Muslim prime minister.  Conservatives may never win another English election.  France is also lost with their gay-trans prime minister who allowed the weird Olympic beginning and ending show.  A few countries in Europe have given up socialism like Sweden and Hungary and have outlawed Burkas and no Muslims coming in.

China a soviet style communist country was just lagging along until they adapted capitalism.  However they are dangerous.  Why, because like NAZI Germany with one party rule but allowing capitalism can easily develop into a dictatorship.  Eventually China will get a dictator who will be extremely dangerous.

The federal government has several ways it influences public education, including:

Passing laws: The federal government creates laws related to education, which are then implemented by federal agencies.

Creating policies: The federal government creates policies and programs for education.

Providing funding: The federal government provides financial support to states for education.

Publishing materials: The federal government publishes materials for teachers, such as recommended teaching strategies.

Evaluating school districts: The federal government evaluates school districts.

Administering assessments: The federal government administers assessments, such as the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NEAP).

Collecting data: The federal government collects data on schools and disseminates it to the public, educators, and Congress.

Identifying issues: The federal government identifies issues in education and brings national attention to them.

Issuing standards: The federal government issues standards for states to follow, and may offer incentives to states that comply.

The federal government's role in education has increased over time, with the creation of the Department of Education in the 1900s. The federal government's involvement in education increased significantly during the Great Society era of the 1960s and 1970s.

While all of that may be true, virtually all of it is political claptrap. The bottom line is what children are taught in the classrooms they attend. What they taught is decided at the local level by local boards of education composed of
Parents and others from the community, not by the federal government. There are more than
13,000 school districts in the USA. They are not all teaching the same things. Take a look at your own school district. Are they teaching Marxism?

“ When it Comes to Education, the Federal Government is in Charge ...” If you believe that, I have a bridge across the Delaware that I can sell you. Of all those statements in red, not a single one affects what school districts decide should be taught in their schools.

Just try balancing the federal budget, which does not resonate with Liberals trying desperately to claim they are working so hard to help the Middle Class, which fosters keeping the Middle Class clueless and in the middle. Claims that Trump is for the rich is TRUTH and ONLY  through expansion of the rich will the economy grow sufficiently to embolden some in the middle to take entrepenural spirit to grow into the rich themselves as the rich spend their wealth growing the US economy.

The Left cannot sufficiently tax the 50% of Americans that pay tax and especially the 2% of the country's richest taxpayers at 100% confiscation to bring down the debt as 50% of Americans pay no tax. We bring in LESS THAN the TRILLIONS we spend now. Without a gut tightening check looking straight into the face of bankruptcy, we print and spend BORROWED MONEY now, in debt relief kicking the can down the road.

The Middle Class is already POOR, they just don't see it comng yet because the Left's Syren's Song remains the same, except when the Candidate filps on EVERYTHING, in order to stroke a vote. You should be howling about her Flip-flopping, flop-flipping.

Opening the border, allowing 24 million illegals to flood in, paying them our hard earned  tax dollars they never earned and do not deserve, making them Citizens so they potentially vote Democrat for the free stuff, giving generation, after generation, after generation welfare for doing NOTHING who have no skin in the game, own nothing, take pride in nothing, exist to vote for more free stuff, which someone else pays for (you too) all of it panders to the Middle Class staying ignorant and vulnerable to the bankruptcy that IS coming.

Mark these words, Trump wins, the Left goes Rouge, burns its s-hole cities, attempts to wrest power as they impose might is right, or try to, and the fabric of this Country tears. Civil War is a possibility. Hard Times are ahead EITHER WAY.

I don't know how it works where you live, but  when the state capital sends down their demands, the locals had best pay heed.  Otherwise
it seems, tax money will be returned from the state, so long as the locals do as "requested' by the state.

Anyway, that is how it seems to work in the people's republic of New York !   ..And i suppose the feds operate on a similar system.

“ New York state does not require or suggest a specific curriculum, but it does provide a curriculum framework,”
“  It is the responsibility of each local school district to develop or select curricula that is aligned to the NYS Learning Standards and responsive to the cultural and linguistic contexts of the students and local community.”
“ New York State provides almost $14 billion in State Aid to the State's public schools; that sum is allocated primarily on the basis of information provided by school districts themselves. ”

Troll? To whom is that insult directed?

Ain't you speshul....  You are saying you can't figure out such things.

Doggone shame that ya can't do it...

Reading comprehension a bit off, maybe?

Try some mental exercises, kind of like physical exercises but for your mind...
like maybe doing a crossword puzzle or a word search.

If it would not tax your mental abilities. Take things a bit slow & work on it. Hate ta read about your getting a stroke or something from over exertion of your mind... ::)

You "might" get better. Or, maybe not.

Doing such exercises of the mind usually helps most folks who do not do well with their comprehension when they read things.

A good pair of spectacles might help as well.

Maybe ya know someone who can help you with your issues on such things.

Maybe just read a bit slower when you are perusing the GBO forum. Maybe ya won't miss the 20 something times that "TROLL" has been mentioned up til now , Just on THIS PAGE", let alone page 1.

NOTE - Using the CNTRL key on your keyboard & then holding it down & pressing the "F" key ( for, "FIND"), and put in "TROLL" into the SEARCH as the "keyword", at the bottom of your browser, & do a search, IF you are able to do so, & ya might help ya with your question.

I am in my early 60s and figured out such things a long time ago. Perhaps you are older & do not have sufficient mental capabilities to accomplish such things. Shame if that is the case, but we are all dealt different hands from GOD .
Some folks miss a Lot of branches on the Tree Of Knowledge when they fall down to the ground.
Bummer to think you missed so many of those branches, should that be the case...

Of course, not everyone has the advantage of good EDUCATION either, & that might be the result of how you were brought up.

Who knows.. ONLY YOU.

I am sure that someone will come along & try to help you get thru these simple tasks... I tried, but not sure ya have the comprehension to understand...

Best of luck there Darkdude/Dudette. I really do hope ya find some enlightenment to help solve your issues..
(Most don't)

Geeez... Lot of typing to try to give some decent advice to the ones who make me wonder why they even go on internet forums...

Have A Nice day there, sunshine.

JB: You are an unpleasant individual. You seem to dwell in insults. There was nothing decent in your last post. It was just your typical longwinded attempt to belittle someone with whom you disagree. You want to stifle disagreement. Why? You could have answered my question with a single word. Instead you launch into a verbose attack and then claim that you were only trying to give decent advice. In that sense you are a liar.

By golly DG..you sound like one of those unionized teachers, who stick by the union's dictates, no matter where the facts lead.  Certainly, until theBiden administration, the USA was the wealthiest nation in the world..and should have been at or near the top in it's educational standards, compared with the rest of the world.

However, that is not the case..check this link..hit the "continue reading" note..

I rather doubt such locations a Macau, Estonia or Ireland spend much time dwelling upon how men can become women..and give birth..

... Or spend a good share of the semester, harping upon "oppressed vs Oppressor"... or "preferred pronouns".

Simple everyday observation, tells us much !  Check this video out, and then try to explain how these students can miss so much, and still have
    time for beach play.

Here's one head of a NY teacher's union, in a rambling, threatening rage.  Says he will "punch people in the face, and shove them in the dirt, if they are against "common core".
One may think he is simply deranged for the day..but listen to the cheers and applause from the assembled unionized teachers !

USMC trained me for it. Very Well. Class 03-84, D.I. School , MCRD, Parris Island, SC..

Somewhere close to a battalion of US Marines will not ever forget my name... Ever..

One of the Best & assuredly Most Unpleasant Assholes you could ever meet.

I pride myself on it, even now, although I left active duty close to 35-40 years ago.

What is your claim to fame, sister?

A degree in Whining, or something.

Get a hold of your Nads. Inside or outside & take a deep breath.

There are folks out in the world who can make those Nads shrivel just by being in the same area they are in, no matter what sort of Nads set ya might possess.

I should say..."Thanks~! for the compliments", though; I'm glad to know that I still can get under the skin of those who likely don't have what it takes even in these times, let alone back then.

Some have it, some don't. YOU have to decide. You KNOW where ya stand.

( I should let ya know a secret though... Those who have a "set"... THEY know about the others who don't... Really, don't fool yourself... Even others can tell, even when ya can't be honest with own self.)
;)

Ya'know... I think it would be prudent for you to not reply to me much.

I just don't think you have "it"... IF...YA can understand what I mean...

P. S. - I can be "short" to get a point across, & use brevity in communications. Generally though, I have to be amongst those/someone who has the comprehension level to understand short "to the point" communications.

Most don't.

Not yet sure you have the knack for it either.

NO need to respond to this, although I bet ya will... IMO, Most chicks, or the effeminate have to have a "last word".

Let me see if you follow the norm, or are at least something of a master of your own nature.

Time will tell... Won't it?
heh heh

A lot of "squawk" from that one. Hell, he can't even make a decent fist.

I wonder just how often he goes out into a public place & not just a arena full of "Snowballs", with those sort of notions in his head & actually has the Nads to be vocal about it.

Like most, likely  "All Talk, No Walk", is my bet.

Some like that around a lot of places in the world today. Talk loud & proud about how they are some sort of a stud & usually the problem is, that they shrivel up like a dick in cold water when it comes down to it when the SHTF.

 No sand, all wind.

Yep. They are all over.  Snowballs melt when the heat gets put on them.  ;)

Almost if not ALL of today's problems have been caused by the Federal Government.

1) Outlawing prayer and Bible reading in schools.  Sometimes this was the only place kids got any biblical information.

2) Creation of the Welfare state by LBJ.  In 1960 13% of people were under the poverty line.  After $4 TRILLION in welfare and food stamp money, we now have over $14% under the poverty line.

3) Unregulated immigration has brought disease that America eliminated by the 1960's.  In Alabama alone 92 people died last year from TB, most were illegal immigrants who brought it across the border.  A lot of them work in chicken processing plants, so be careful eating chicken.

4) There are illegal Hatians in Sylacauga, Boaz, Albertville, Haleyville, and Culman.  They are overwhelming these small towns.  They don't have French-Creole interpreters, etc.  Springville, Ohio has a population of around 60,000 with 20,000 Hatian immigrants.  Their pets as well as ducks and geese are mission.  The Hatians were flown here by our current government.

5)  The Welfare system rewards single mothers with food stamps, welfare, and section 8 housing.  If she gets married, her husbands income is included in the family income and most of the time and they loose the freebees.  Today around 55-60% of children are with a single parent.  Thus women will vote democrat, not because of abortion, but because of freebees.  I know of a white couple with 2 kids.  They got a divorce.  He uses his parents address as his address.  He still lives with her however.  She now gets welfare, food stamps, and "child support" (30% is maximum a parent has to pay in Alabama).  Now he has a bass boat and a new truck.  They still live in a mobile home to qualify for the freebees.  So it is not all blacks that have been doing this, but also poor and low middle class whites also.

6)  Government has been pushing kids to go to college so around 20-25% go to college and get government loans to do so.  Many really couldn't make it in college without getting an easy useless degree.  Now they are stuck with student loans they can't pay back because half of all college grads can't get jobs in their field and have to take lesser jobs.  This is stupid.  Germany only takes the top 10% for college, over 50-60% get trade degrees and get good jobs.  Trade skills are not pushed in high school, yet we need auto mechanics, plumbers, electricians, heat and air conditioning people, welders-especially high stress pipe welders, power company linemen, brick masons, carpenters etc.

7)  The Free Trade Agreements of the 1990's, just as Ross Perot said, stripped the textile and shoe manufacturing out of the US.  In the south all you needed was an 8th grade education to work in a textile mill and you were lower middle class.  Now we have permanent welfare people.  As FDR said in the 1930's he didn't want to give out welfare money because he said Americans would loose the work ethic, but instead created jobs programs, such as reforestation, rural power line installations, hydro dams, roads and bridges to create jobs for men out of work.  Now people don't want to work if they still suck on the government teat.

8)  Opening the door for China in 1998 created a powerful Fascist state with one party rule and free enterprise jobs, instead of leaving it as a backward soviet style socialist state that could never catch up with the west.

9)  The government creates inflation by spending more money than it takes it and just printing more or electronically putting out more worthless money.

10) Government has gotten us into many useless endless wars since Korea, like Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, continuing to provide weapons and ammo for Ukraine instead of trying to get a peace treaty of some sort.  Unfreezing Iran's assets and giving them money back, that they promptly used to get rockets to the Palestinians, Hezbollah, and others stirring up trouble.

As you can see, Government has caused all these problems.  Democrats are worse, but some Republicans went along with some of this also.  This is not counting over-regulating everything that it is hard for small business to operate and expand.

I agree, pretty much, with everything after #1. (Imagine that ..,me and JB agreeing on something.) #1 is inaccurate. A child can pray anytime he or she wants to. There is no law preventing a child from being a Bible to school and reading from it

Many children are or were not exposed to Bible Stories and God, Jesus, etc.  Didn't mean they had to accept it, but at least they would understand where at that time, the majority of Christians were basing their life choices from.  Yes a child can pray anytime, but what if they don't know how to pray or even what prayer was?  No one, when I was young, had to participate.  We would pray the Lord's prayer out loud, then have the pledge of allegiance.  A kid didn't have to do either, but 99% did.  After grammer school, where the teacher would read Bible stories to us, we would in later grades pass around a Bible to read our favorite scripture.  If you didn't want to when it was your turn, you passed on the Bible to the next person.  I remember a Jewish girl who always read, "The Lord our God is One God", but she read it and participated, as Jews believe Christians have 3 gods.  They and most don't understand God takes 3 forms or 3 dimensions.  The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

Exposure to Christianity and Christian principles helped keep society in check, thus less crime, sin, and more stable and safe.  Things were much better society wise in 1960 and before.  Yes there were problems that were solved such as equal rights.  However, today reverse discrimination is taking place with cancel culture that has gone amuck.
