We must restore State Government

I believe, as may others do that the only way we can survive as a Republic in America, Is for the States to come together and get back on track. The Federal bureaucracy is too corrupt to fix from within. The states must once again
 assume the powers given to them by our constitution.

Americans across the country are anxiously watching the upcoming elections for U.S. president and Congress. Depending on who wins, the results will inevitably alter our nation’s trajectory — or so the thinking goes.

"Not so fast"........ In reality, the American system of government, as designed by the Founding Fathers, has several key firewalls protecting citizens from encroachments on their God-given rights — and one of those firewalls is the principle of federalism. Under our system, the states are sovereign republics, and power is divided between them and the federal government. The states retain the vast majority of powers; the U.S. Constitution delegates only specific, limited powers to the federal government. In The Federalist, No. 51, James Madison highlighted the strength of America’s federalist system. Describing the United States as a “compound republic” with power “divided between two distinct governments,” he noted that this system provides “a double security … to the rights of the people.”

To protect citizens’ God-given rights, states must reclaim the sovereignty that they have lost to federal usurpations, including by nullifying unconstitutional federal acts and rejecting all federal funding. While this is essential, more is needed: State governments must ensure that their own policies protect God-given rights and align with the limited-government principles of the Founding Fathers.

Taken it by Coercion.they have forced their will on the states. An example is the school system. They make recommendations for change, and if the schools refuse to adhere, they threaten to withhold MONEY to those institutions, but do to those who accept their rules of operation. The administrators and teachers who don't go along, are eventually replaced by those that will. Cities and other forms of state government get the same Coercion. And when they cave, we see the results. Chicago, Portland, All of the Liberal Leftist cities are prime examples.

It's the new world order at it's finest, and our leaders in Washington are the head of this snake. This is why they have done everything under the sun to stop Trump from being elected. They will stop at nothing to reach their objective. Including Murder.

Pretty much anyone that disagrees with the Marxist new world order is considered a domestic terrorist. While the real terrorists hell bent on destroying America are over looked.

The 17th amendment, changing the senate from being appointed by each states legislature to elected by the people, gave the federal government free reign over the states.

Originally, the US house of representatives was the only body to be elected by the vote of the people.  Their job was to represent "the people."

The Senate was appointed by each states legislature and their job was to look after "the interest of the state itself".

With the passing of the 17th amendment, and election by the people, the people have both the house and the senate that are representing them.

The individual states lost their representation and states rights have suffered ever since.   After passage of the 17th amendment, mandates to the state were possible and are now used by the federal government to limit the power of the state, and limiting the 10th amendment which gives things not defined in the constitution to the state itself.

So basically, before the 17th amendment, if the state legislator was Red, both senators were appointed by them and in all likelihood they were red.

Think about what the US Senate would look like had the 17th amendment not passed.  There would be a large majority of Republicans in the senate.  All you have to do is look at an election map and clearly the county is red, but yet the senate is nearly 50/50.

The founding fathers set it up this way to ensure the state itself had representation, to look after the interest of the state.  Now, the state has no representation as both the house and the senate are elected by the people.

Want states rights back?  Repeal the 17th amendment.

 I know that a few states have already declared themselves 2nd. Amd. sanctuary states. Arizona, Arkansas, Texas, Montana and a couple others. As stated, the federal government has overstepped it's boundaries for far to long. Not sure how much the 10th Amd. push's back on the feds, but it needs to get done. Their more interested in sending tax dollars overseas than helping the Americans that their collecting the money from. Wondering how much help Biden is going to send to all the states with the hurricane damage?
