Early Christmas shopping..
« on: November 01, 2024, 12:33:43 PM »
I decided since I am getting well advanced in years, that it is time I left my son with a lasting memorabilia as a Christmas gift..

Fortunately, i was able to secure a 2nd amendment commemorative in the Henry Golden Boy line..

Actually it comes with a silver plated receiver and gold embellishments.. Hope he will treasure it !

https://www.henryusa.com/rifles/second-amendment-tribute-edition/        (click arrows beside photos, to view)

Since his business is named Eagle Photography and the design features 2 golden eagles..it should be a win/win.  Hope he will treasure it !

Not sure she thinks you are a crack user but I'm pretty sure she thinks you have no business being a rider of that bike.

As old as I am and as much as I fall I'd not even consider riding one anymore. I dunno if I'd be safe on a normal bicycle these days. I think I need a hover round chair more than any sort of bike.

i still do pretty good on one. but have been riding one most of my life. that said id never really pay that much for one because i just dont ride alot anymore and if i did buck up for a new one id give serious consideration to going trike. im old enough now that i probably wouldnt get laughed at. but ill have a harley in the garage till they plant me. even if i just stare at it and leave it to one of the grandsons or great grandsons. hell this last one only cost me 6k and its hard to tell from new. what can you buy for 6k today that will probably be worth more 10 years from now other than gold and what the hell fun is rolling a couple gold coins in your hands.

..Bet she would be much happier with a new kitchen remodeling job!   Surely you would appreciate the latest in kitchen design and technology! :D ;D

Maybe I am a boring old man, but as I have softened my hunting practices in my old age, so have I softened in other ways.  I no longer get a thrill out of getting new toys and presents... but I sure enjoy giving them, when I can.

This year I plan on giving some "keepsake" type gifts, which my loved ones can treasure over the years..as memories when I am gone.
