  Yesterday was 12/07/2024...  I listened on and off through the day, to hear a recapitulation of that day some 83 years ago..

  I didn't hear mention of the event at all, however my daughter-in-law said that she heard it mentioned just once.

  Anybody here catch a mention anywhewre ?

I saw it mention twice yesterday, plus several mentions online , including one about the Arizona.

I asked in Sunday School this morning and no one had heard it mentioned either. I am assuming younger people don't remember. Very sad.

I suggest, if she can swing the cost, get the island helicopter tour.  IMO, there's no better way to see the Arizona memorial than from the air.  One can see the entire outline of the ship, right along with the small trail of oil still leaking from it, with great clarity.  I'll concede I may have missed something by not seeing it from sea level, but it was still a moving sight.
