Federal funding bill shut down
« on: December 19, 2024, 04:32:49 AM »
Looks like the Federal funding bill Johnson was trying to push thru was shot down. After Musk and Ramaswamy looked through the over 1500 page bill, reported back that it had billions in pork spending, their not going to vote on it. Typical Democrat/RINO attempt to fill their pockets with unnecessary spending. Same reason that Trump didn't sign the border wall bill in 2018. He wanted 4 billion for the wall construction. Schumer and the rest of DC politicians wrote a bill for 1.5 billion for the wall, and billions for pork. They wanted to make him come back so they could write another porker bill. Somebody with better 'puter skills can probably hook up a link, several news sights with the story.

What better way to buy votes than to vote for bills loaded with pork. The republicans have been just as good as the democrats at this game.

This is exactly why our form of government is the worst, except for all the rest.  President Trump is going to have to go to the people and make his case over and over.  It's not going to be fun.

When it comes to spending, we seem to be left with little choice but to think of Dems and deep state Reps...as spending on a commission basis.

If so, how much kick back would they be getting back ?

Can’t understand why they wanted the debt ceiling lifted. Sounds counter to cutting the debt.

Ask the Demonrats, they are the ones who never get a budget on time..thus relying upon a "continuing resolution"..

The Rino Repugnicans are no help either..

"Can’t understand why they wanted the debt ceiling lifted. Sounds counter to cutting the debt."

Mainstream media says Trump wanted to spend the money. It has always sounded like he borrows money for his business' but often doesn't pay it back. Hm....

Doesn't pay it back, Where did you get that from? It sure seems that if he was in the habit of refusing to pay his obligations, he never would have
gone very far beyond his first million..

Neither banks nor venture capitalists are inclined to hand money over to bad credit risks..

“Doesn’t pay it back?”   Correct. I know a number of contractors in NYC  who will not work for him for precisely that reason.,
