opiates hit our family
« on: January 09, 2025, 11:25:59 PM »
my oldest grandson just yesterday was found at his kitchen table dead with a needle on the floor next to him. he was a troubled soul and had gone through rehab twice in the past. what a waste. he was intelligent, a great carpenter and loved his 2 kids but surely suffered from depression and fell into the drug hole and it kept drawing him back. he was 26 years old. say a prayer for him.

God speed.  Prayers sent. RIP.

My younger brother too died a fentanyl death.  No family gets a clean bill of health these days.

So sorry to hear.  Just when you could start relaxing and enjoying your grandchildren and their little ones..

I have been blessed so far, with none involved...but I am not gloating or resting confident, since it can hit anywhere.

We have an active church member who went through the whole alcohol/drug scene. He is clen now, but his legacy is a former wife and some
children and grandchildren who are still slaves to those habits.

We all pray for their freedom and he goes back home to WV every now and then.  He has managed to get a couple on the right path, but then they
are of course, still associating with those who are yet enslaved...it's tough.

  Praying for your grandson's family..

So sorry for your loss Lloyd. You have my sympathy. Prayers for you and family.

Its so sad. Drugs have ruined so many lives. I have a friend that lost his son due to an OD. He got clean for awhile, then went back to them and OD-ed
