Los Angeles is but a shell of it's former self, since the fires have swept through. We now see dedicated fire fighters, apologizing to the people
sometimes through tears, for "letting them down"..
Why do we not hear similar apologies from the political class?
From what I saw, although I have doubts concerning their leadership, those fire fighters fought hard with what they had....but it is extremely
difficult to fight fires with dry hydrants and either empty, or non existant reservoirs ! ...Reservoirs upon which, construction was due to start back
about 2016 !
Now it seems, those politicians have set aside fifty million in state taxpayers' money to fight Trump with ! It sure seems trhey could do
something more worthwhile for those taxpayers..with $50,000,000 to toss around !
