I got out and shot the hunter ,not real extensive just to get acquainted with the gun and test a few reloads. The pistol shot my normal accurate reload very well. I did not take the chronograph but suspect it would not be anything earth shattering for velocity . I bought mine for it handling characteristics , the long nosed thing points well and feels good off handed . It shot 17.0/296/158 JHP very well 50 yard objects were not much of a challenge . 100 yard piece of wood about 10' in diameter required a little concentration to hit consistently but the same can be said about my 8 3/8 ' S&W's . The gun shot cast bullets at 1350 quite well with out leading the barrel up. The lock up and timing remained constant . The sights are first rate good square post and blade the appeared well defined , once you near 60 sharp is not a term you use regurarly. The front sight will get a little Mill Bastard adjustment because to sight the gun in for the 158 load you had to crank the rear sight higher than I like to see a blade out of the frame, probably 1/8" should do a lot to bring things back into the frame. It is a nice pistol for the price , mine cost 378.00, and very easy to shoot off hand ! piratical , maybe , fun to shoot definitely!
