Just sitting in the chair waiting for the other half to get back so we can go to Chainese Restaurant (no buffet) we have not been to before.
We used to go to Red Lobster but their menu has gotten so crappy, we try other places.
Listening to a radio station that plays soft rock, jazz, country western and motown music from the days when Top 40 stations, and stations that had music besides casual talk shows.
They are obviously playing songs involving love, and failiing love, but they take me back to the sixties and seventies when I was an ignorant, naive youth and the country was, as a whole (outside of left wing cities) a great place to live.
Looking out of a dining room window just watching traffic down at the main intersection, makes me think of how that scene has changed in the 40 years I have lived here three days out of four.
Makes me rather melancholy but the music brings pleasant memories and I am looking foreward to Chinese food that is NOT from a buffet.
A Blessed Valenties, and condolences to those who lost their loved ones.
