they came from, and some commit the most heinous crimes (e.g. rape, murder, torture) and deserve punishment..forget any "correction"..
Now, many of these crooks come from sunny climes and thus should not be made more comfortable by sending them to Gitmo. ..And of course
although very slim, there is a chance for an escape, since the fence borders the Communist paradise of Cuba. !
So, to prevent escape and their having a comfy sentence, perhaps we should set aside one of the small islands north of the northern coast of Alaska
such as those near Point Barrow or Prudhoe Bay.. They could be provided picks and shovels, to do daily conservation work on the island.
The island will of course, be located on the Beaufort sea, but they won't be sunbathing on any beach, although they may be moving some tundra and ice.
