Gulf of Maxico, Gulf of America...may as well get it straight right now..

  Look at the map of the gulf reegion, below.

 To the north is North America..to the south is South America..  To the center is Central America..

  So to correct a past mistake, it is only natural to include the 3 Americas, rather than to pick just one nation, arbitrarily.

Looks like the USA has more shoreline on the Gulf than Mexico does.

Why? Mexico is a part of North America. Naming it Gulf of America is far more inclusive and proper than Gulf of Mexico.
