This sounds like a stupid liberal plan.  If they are worried about not enough babies getting born so we will have sufficient troops for a war.  Think again--give the money to the troops.  They aren't overpaid in my book.  Alternately the federal government could allow a higher deduction for dependents on your income tax.  Wars should not be fought with gobs of foot soldiers anyway.  Rockets and machines and even nukes in some cases will be the way it goes.

I also disagree with the notion of having nuclear power plants for every large poopulation area.  We had one about 15 miles away.  It didn't ever pay for itself and it has now been defunct for decades.  Cogenerator systems are way cheaper and they are safe.

i hope if tey do implement this incentive it will only apply to non welfare married couples because it could be an incentive to single welfare mothers who will not only get that money but see an increase in welfare because of more kids and would give more incetive to young single women to get knocked up and end up on the welfare roll.

as to nukes, there welcome to build one here. still a much more practical answer than solar/wind and i worked at power plants and as a lineman most of my life and have a pretty good grasp of what works. if your plant didnt make money it was because of millions of dollars spent on stupid regulations and the fact newer technology makes them safer and more efficient, if that wasnt the case why are so many being built around the world in country's that dont have radical government regulations and hippy liberal protesting them that know about as much about them as they do whats under the crust of mars.

cogeneration is a generic term that refers to using left over heat from the production of power to create more energy and is usually used to heat water but can be used in small ng generators usually less than one megawatt (and none builds plants that small) the technology can be used in coal and yup even in modern nuke plants on a much bigger scale where typically one generator can produce 500 megawatts. heat loss is the biggest problem for efficiency loss generating power. one large 500 watt nuke or coal plant has a fraction of the heat loss a typical ng plant powered by numerous diesel engines does.

Coal will ALWAYS be the cheapest way to make power, its why in china and russia a new coal plant comes online almost every day. while the insanity of the left had us shutting them down at about the same rate, the company i worked for had 3 coal plants, 2 shut down because the crazy new emission standards made it not economically feasible to upgrade them and the biggest because new rules came out right after they spent millions to upgrade after previous changes and the left intentional moved the ball so fast that THOUSANDS shut down because they couldnt keep up to the global warming hippies running this country. like i said earlier in this post this aint my first rodeo! cogeneration is a bandiad like wind/solar. what we really need is construction to start today on thousands of modern coal plants and yup even some nukes sprinkled in.

 Pretty sure Trump got this idea from the Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban. Their birth rate has fallen like most countries, and gave a major tax break to native Hungarians that married and had children. Started about a year ago. While I think it might work out in Hungary, not to sure here in the States. Out demographics are WAY different than Hungary, and some here propagate but don't add to the benefit of the country.

 There are various reasons why we need to increase Ameerican birth rate.  Primarily because it is the working, productive people who finance the various government programs.

 At present, it is taking the contributions of 2.3 working people, just to support each person presently on social security.

  Then too, Pres Trump plans on bringing back the manufacturing base which the Dems chased away over the past 30-40 years.

  With enough Americans to fill these jobs, there will be little reason or excuse, to welcome illegal interlopers into the USA !

  Frankly, I believe Pres Trump and his cabinet, have a firm grasp of what may be coming down... over the coming decades.

  We may be facing truly great challenges a couple decades from now, that will require a solid base of loyal Americans.

  Of course, no bonuses should go to those who breed indiscriminately, and live off the government , since they already get a bonus in food stamps

  It mnay well be worthwhile to hear Hungary's PM, Viktor Orban out !  Hungary is in the midst of Europe, almost a bridge between eastern and western Europe.

If Trump does do this, he could put restrictions on it.  Like, you have to be married and have a full time job to support the child until adulthood.  This might be considered racist, but it might encourage more whites to have kids.

On the other hand.  I see more conservative young people are having kids.  Liberals are not.  Gays can't have kids unless lesbians get invitro fertilization.  Poor, and illegals are the ones having kids now.
