Remington cartridge conversion
« on: March 30, 2004, 01:26:42 PM »
Having received a Remington New Army from a family member, I have no history about it. This is a Rem New Army all dates correct on the barrel. It has been converted to fire cartridges. Cylinder bored through and firing pin brazed on the hammer. What caliber were they usually converted to? When did people convert them? According to the family member the gun came from New jersey and was last fired in the 1940's. Any help would be great. Thanks MDD
