Crossman or Daisy?
« on: March 30, 2004, 03:13:52 PM »
I am looking at two air rifles and would like your opinions on them.  They are the Crossman 2200 and the Daisy 22SG.  Also, would any of you opt for the .177 versions of these two?

This rifle will be used for black bird and squirrel shooting in my back yard.

Thanks!

I have had a Daisy 22SG for a couple of years.  It's okay.  A Benjamin/Sheridan 392 is WAY better though...

and is the more powerful of the two at full power (600 fps at ten pumps in a 22 caliber pump is great) The 2200 is a 22 caliber pump the 2100 is the 177 version it does in the 700s at full power. If you have the money go to fun suppily and order yourseld a B18/19 break barrel in either caliber a wood and steel rifle (little or no plastic) accurate as hell and powerful 600-700 in 22 and close to 1000 in 177 all in 1 cock of the barrel cost is $85 for 177 $87 for the 22. gun come with a lifetime warrenty from seller except for springs one of the best bargins in airguns.
