Last I heard the SSI was out of production. I picked mine up on clearance for $229 at Galyans. I've also seen them at Dicks for under $3oo on sale. The remaining extra barrels are only available at Mossberg for $225. The gun is nice a bit on the heavy side but it sure tames the 308. The other heavy thing is the trigger and sooner or later it will get a trigger job. It is a much nicer looking gun then the NEF and draws attention at the range.

Matt yes we`ve heard that the SSI is no longer in production. Seems a shame too because it was a lot of gun for the money. A better market for the extreme high and low dollar products I guess. Count yourself luck to have aquired one while they were readily available. Best of luck. POW

Hey Mattkc check Mossberg.com this is the SSI-One a new one shot rifle in several calibers and configurations. Just got the Mossberg 2004 catalog and it is listed in there also.
