Someone can go ahead and (Delete) this post if you'd like.

Have any of you replaced the front sight with something else, or maybe scoped your rifle. Reason I ask is:

I have a (New in Box) Buffalo Classic that I'm selling. It came to me from H&R missing the insert holder, the screw in tube that holds the different inserts on the front globe. H&R says 2 weeks before they will have any, if I'm lucky. Probably more like 2 months for all I know.

Does anyone have a front globe sight that they aren't using, I'd like to sell this thing without having to wait forever for the part.  Soon as I get the replacement from H&R I will sent it back to you.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks. ~~ Doug

From my personal experience, when h&r service says they are going to send something they do it the same day and the part shows up just days later.  My advice, if you want that nice gun be patient for a couple of days and you'l be all set up.  Good luck.

Should have worded my first post a little better:

I'm a dealer,  this gun is one I have in stock for sale.  Came to me from H&R with part of the front globe missing, can't really sell it without a workable front sight.

I called H&R this morning and was told they have nothing in stock right now and don't expect anything for a couple weeks.

I took this particular Buffalo Classic out of the box for the first time this morning and discovered right away that the sight was incomplete. I have had people interested in buying it, but I won't let it out the door until it's shootable.

I was just asking if anyone had one lying around that they weren't using until I receive the replacement from H&R. I'll then send it back to whoever with money to cover you sending it to me.

Sorry for the short and sweet first post, been a crazy day today and didn't have much time to really explain the situation.
