I went to a Turkey Hunting Seminar last Saturday with a friend of mine. The featured speaker was Vincent Fluginiti. He has  a couple of WA State Grand Slams (Eastern, Merriam, & Rio Grande). Like you guys he is really sold on Winchester Supreme® Turkey loads.

His gun is a Mossberg® Mdl 835; the original 3½" Magnum. He tried all different kinds of loads and chokes and the Winchester Supreme® 3" and 3½" Mags and #4 shot is what he swears by. Because he has such great success with that he has yet to try Hevi-Shot®. As do we he aggrees it's VERY EXPENSIVE.

Doing my own testing with my Mossberg® in 20Ga Federal® patterned the best, followed by Winchester® and Remington®. Conversely my son also uses a 20GA (Winchester Pump); his gun patterns Remington® like a house a fire! Federal & Winchester not well at all. Go Figure! :?

Hi dawie my wife uses a BPS 20ga youth model 3 inch mag 22 ich barrel  right now i am letting her use the CoMP-N-Choke choke and it patters the Best with Federal 20ga turkey loads and then Win turkey load i havent seen any Win high vel 20 ga turkey loads so she uses the Federal loads and the reg Rem turkey loads i have tryed them in the past so i wont buy any more they would have to get better than they use to be i wont buy any more Rem's load i dont like i have a box of the Hevi Shot 6's imy wife got me last yr hope they dont go bad because it will be a while before i get to them lol i have talk to DON SHIPP World Cham. caller for Mad calls and he said that is all they shot is the Win high vel shellsif they come out with some in a 20 ga i will get some and pattern them but for now the Fed 's will do and they pattern good at 40 yrds and she had killed her share of turkeys with that little one and i think she will kill a few more to go with the others becasue she is only 30 yrs old and the new shells the Kents look like a good shell are they nickel plated shot if you try thrm let me know how they work out good luck VM
