For me it is Cabela's because I have a Cabela's credit card.  Those points add up and I get lots of stuff with the points.

I was spoiled for life by Herter's, but it is long gone. George Herter never sold nothing that he did not claim was the world's best. My all time favorite was his combination fly dope/gun cleaning solution/liniment/stomach remedy.

His fruitcake that he claimed was made from Diamond Lil's personal recipe was a close second and it won't bad fruitcake, neither.
It is the duty of the good citizen to love his country and hate his gubmint.

I like "The Sportsman's Guide" for it's strange but weirdly wonderful commentary. I have found better prices on somethings elsewhere but it has something I never see anywhere else. I buy a couple of things a year from them just so I continue to get "The FUN to Read Catalog"

My favorite is Victoria's Secret but when I get bored with that, Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops are OK.

Graf & Sons. Web site: http://www.grafs.com/

Good selection, good prices, great service and no shipping charges - just $3.75 per order for handling & insurance.

Midway is good (great prices), but, by the time you add on the shipping charges, it's cheaper to deal with Graf & Sons.

By the way, for you handloaders of foreign metric cartridges, they stock inexpensive cases under their own headstamp for some of them (made by Hornady). Norma and Lapua, with their very high prices, aren't the only game in town anymore.

I pretty much like any catalog that sells hunting/shooting stuff, but mostly it comes down to:
1.Cabelas
2.Sportsman Guide
3.Bass Pro
4.Midway
5.Midsouth
6.I just love the Filson catalog, not that I can afford to buy anything out of it, but i do love it so.

Oops. Forgot to mention the other one that's a favorite of mine, Natchez.

I've used them for years, and have never had cause for complaint.

I'll have to agree that Herters had some fine products.  I still have a few shotgun wads that they made, they were 1 1/2oz wads with only 2 slots in them and they really could hold a tight pattern and they are the only wad that recommended using 10% less powder in your load.
