Forget using any belted cartridge with a Handi or H&R rifle. The way the extractor is set up it would really be a problem using anykind of belted case. Such as .350 Rem Mag, 7MM Mag, .300 Mag, .338 Mag, any belted case. The reason I say this is I have been working up a load for my TCR in .338. The case belts keep hanging up on the extractor. I have to physically lower the extractor to get the belt by. Then if I am not careful the case will drop into the chamber without engaging the extractor. Now the extractor is between the case head and the frame, gun won't close till I knock out the case and fit the extractor into the groove between belt and case head. With the ejector problems Handi's are prone to have, working with belted cases would flat not be tolerated by most shooters. The TCR has the same type extractor as Handi's. The only differance is the TCR only extracts, while the Handi ejects.
