:-D  Depends on the phase of the moon, which side of the bed i get up on, and what I had for supper!!  :-D  Some times I can't even decide till I get to a match,  and even then if i'm in the mood for cleaning, I may change horsed midstream!  :)   I have a pair of Colts in 45, an old pair of Jager clones in 45, and a pair of ss Rugers in 357,  I have a strong desire for a brace of remmies in 44-40, but alas, I have a hole in my pocket!  I have a '66 in 45, a 73 in 45, and a 92 in 357.  I have a NEED for another '73 in 44-40 with a 30" barrel  to keem them Remmies company!! I have a Lefever 20ga sxs, a 311 16ga, and a Browning sxs 20.  I missed the 1887 vintage Remington fluid steed mule eared sxs due to the same pocket hole.  American Derringer, Browning '86 for long range lever, and a Taylors Sharps for Single Shot and Buffalo Single shot.
At least today, who knows tomorrow????   :)

ButlerFord45, with a slogan like that, You got my vote!

I shoot a pair of 44 colt Cimarron R-M conversions and a Henry in 44-40.
Sometimes I shoot my '66 in 44-40 but I really like that Henry for style points. When you shoot as slow as I do, you need lots of style so people don't mind watching that long.

Yep, keeps the state bringing in Sales Tax....  Can't but two though, so much for consecutive numbers.  New law for 2003, gotta take a test to show you know how to unload the gun, witnessed by the seller.  Every time you buy a gun,  Wonder if the guys who wrote and passed the law know how? :-D

Funny, me too. Exactly the same stuff:

Right now I have a Uberti 73 in 45 and a Norinco 97 with a nice action job. Have an AWA Longhorn and a Uberti Doug Turnbull custom clone in 357. Great leather rig. Traded Big Ed a shotgun for 2 holsters, cuffs and spur straps. Fancier than those on his site, even. And Latigo Jim here in TN made a beautiful belt to go with all of it. I may have Jim make a sheath for my stag handled Bowie knife. He does great work.

A pair of SS 5 1/2" RVs in .44 Mag, Marlin 1894 in .44 Mag, either a 12 ga Rossi Coach Gun (external hammers) or a 12 ga single trigger variant of the Stevens 311 (hammerless).  For long range pistol caliber rifle side matches I use my grandpa's old octagon barrel M92 Win rifle in .38-40.  My wife, Texana Trueheart, shoots a pair of blued 5 1/2" RVs in .357 Mag, a Marlin 1894 carbine in .357 Mag, and a Fox Model "B" 20 ga double.  All pistol and rifle ammo is loaded on a Dillon RL 550B, and ammo for both shotguns is loaded on a pair of MECs.

Snake River Cowboy. Tell me more about the EMF Dakotas. You say one is an ASM and one a Uberti. Does that mean two different companies are making them for EMF or at some point did they change who they get them from?

I had one last year when I was trying to begin gearing up to see if I wanted to try CAS but it shot so far to left I felt it unlikely I'd be able to use it. I "think" mine was made by Uberti but might be wrong. I sure liked it. Was well made, tight, had a really good trigger pull and was very accurate but just show WAY left of where I aimed. Didn't matter if I shot it right handed, left handed or both hands, free hand or from the bench it show way left. Sent it back for them to fix it. Included some targets for them to see what it was doing. They said they'd replace it buy couldn't fix it as they had no place to shoot it where ever they are. I took a replacement (something I now regret) and traded it on a Ruger Bisley special run of SS 5-1/2" barrels with adjustable sights. Nice gun and even being a Ruger I still like it but I really liked that Dakota.

Thinking on getting me another or even a pair. Wise move? Or mistake? How are yours for hitting to point of aim?

GB,

EMF was importing ASMs. Not any more. It is my understanding that AWA bought all of ASMs tooling  and contracted with them to make their guns. AWA wasn't happy with the quality control, and started making them theirselves. Last I heard ASM was filing bankruptcy.  I could be wrong, but that is what I remember hearing.
