 I'm working on a yugo 48 and wanted to try out the baking lacquer for a finish. Thought that the bolt handle might look good with the lacquer finnish on it so I masked off the rest of the bolt and sprayed it on the handle, problem is, to cure the lacquer, I have to bake at 350 degrees for an hour but don't know if this is too much heat/time for the bolt lug. Anyone have any info on how much heat the bolt lugs can see. I have a heat sink and heat stop paste but, again I don't know if this will protect the lugs enough as when forging a bolt handle.
Thanks for your time,
Woofert
