Can someonre tell me where I can get some of this stuff. I have looked and asked around here in OK and can't seem to find any. Haven't done an internet search, I thought I would ask here first. I assume there is an equivalent that would work too. Any help :?

You can find J-B at Sinclair or at Brownells.

I bought some Iosso at Gander Mt. when I got my new Ultra 'cause I didn't see any JB....then a couple weeks later I was there and noticed it in a different place from the other cleaning products. I should've asked about the JB originally,,but the Iosso seemed to do alright.
If one Gander store stocks it ,,I believe most of them will,,ask for it if you don't see it.  But that's only good if ya got a Gander Mt. near you too.

Ok I just did an internet search. Found JB Bore Cleaner, Bore Bright, Iosso and USP. Anyone wanna give me some help here. Mainly what's the difference in the Bore Cleaner and the Bore Bright. Do I need both. Is The Bore Cleaner what everyone has been refering to as bore paste? Are the Iosso and USP alternatives to JB?

The bore cleaner is for lead-copper fouling, and the bore-bright(the stuff everybody is talking about including me)is the non abrasive bore polishing compound. This stuff works the best in my opinion, and i especially like it's non-abrasive  ability. I was checking out some high-end barrel manufacturers, and one of their top-dog engineers when asked about barrel break in mentioned J-B BORE BRIGHT in his article. He stated that it does not remove any metal from the bore. I would except no substitute, also i found mine in a local gun/reloading store. The stuff will last a long time.            :D               later bull b 25-06

So are you saying not to purchase or use the abrasive Bore Cleaner that they produce also?

i would not use any abrasive cleaners in the bore. Just use the J-B Bore Bright, and you will be happy with it i guarauntee. Also i am getting ready to Moly my bore and action. After this  the only thing needed to clean it will be a patch with a little oil on it.

Now this raises some questions. Can you explain this?

To moly coat your bore and actionyou can buy some aerosol type moly spray. You can use the spray to coat your own bullets, bores, and actions. The spray i saw was at a local gun/reloading shop for about $9. Thought i would give it a try,but haven't yet.

I wound up getting a tube of Flitz. The place said they had Bore Bright when I called but it turned out to be the Bore Cleaner instead, so I just got a tube of Flitz. Will this be ok or should I go ahead and pursue the Bore Bright further?

lik2hunt the flitz worked just fine for me. it is non-abrasive, one poster even suggested toothpaste. maybe he dosen't like the smell of gunpowder!
what ever you use just make sure you gargle---oops i mean clean all the polishing compound out of the chamber and bore.
