Just waitin' for some snow...

Me and the little guy are waiting for about 3 inches of snow to go bowhunting cottontails here in Wisconsin.  We have an inch or so now, but it's warming up... It  will be his first season as the hunter.  Anyone else have plans for the winter?  I thought I  would get out and try coyotes as well later on.

:grin: I would more than glad to send you some of the 4 ft of snow we have on the ground in central NY.  I live about 1 hour below the great lakes, we have been hit with two major snow stormes and then lake effect almost every day. The snow is not ice over so a dog will just fall thru and can not run on top as yet. I have the snow shoes ready to go with my little 20 ga. A friend has 3 dogs and we can not wait to get out for the white hare or brown rabbits. We have both in the area.
