Our nationals last year was held at Batemans Bay in NSW 1712 fwt used my 308,s for hunter and heavy and shot very well.He placed in both events (hitting 5 turkeys in a shoot off in hunter nice!!!!!).The nationals this year are in Queensland from 24-27 september. I'm sure any International visitors would be welcomed with open arms. There should be info at www.ssaa.org.au .I hope to see you there.

namovlov, or anyone else,

I'm hoping you might be able to help me out, I'll be visiting Brisbane in July for three weeks and I've been told by a friend who was there for the worlds a few years ago that the range is the best she has seen. I was hoping to take a look at it while I'm there. The question is, who would you suggest I try to contact about this?

Thanks,
Jim

G,day Grasshopper,

I believe you are probably referring to the SSAA Madden range at Belmont in Brisbane. You can ring Kaye or Debbie on 0733950911. While you are in Brisbane, give Jan Linsley a call at MAB Engineering. I think she is the world president of the International Metallic Silhouette Shooting Union. MAB is a premier barrel maker & all the staff are seriously into Rifle Silhouette & would be more than pleased to meet you.

kind regards
