What type of sling do you all choose for nice comfortable carry?

Thanks,

I use a "Cobra" leather sling with my .375 Model 70. I also use it with my other hunting rifles. The wider section of the strap bearing on your shoulder will distribute the weight of the rifle over a larger area, providing more comfort.

The majority of the hunting I have done doesn’t require carrying a gun for extended periods of times. I usually stand hunt or slow stalk on the ground. I’ve always preferred to carry in my hands as opposed to slinging it over my shoulder. The slings I have seen that seem to be very comfortable for extended carry don’t seem functional as a shooting support for free handed shooting due to the thick cumbersome shoulder pads. I would think there is a sling on the market that would be comfortable for sling carry as well as being a suitable off hand shooting support.

Thanks for your reply.
