Howdy Y'all,
Well I been tryin' my hand at Fencing.
Some folks calls it a sport. They can have at it. It dang shore ain't no fun, no how.
An' It's a lot like work for this ol' codger.
They can wear them there fancy outfits and say them there hoity-toity French words all they wants ta.
Yep, Fencing ain't all it's cracked up ta be. A finished puttin' up 800' of chain link and I'm plumb tuckered out.
Time to head fer the ol' saloon.

Sarsaparillies on me.

Thems fightin' words.  Anybody starts puttin a fence 'round our saloon better bring a lunch and a lantern, 'cause they gonna have a fight on their hands.  Dontchaknow all us cowboys carry war cutters in our saddlebags?  Guess old williamlayton does sound like he's "wared" oncest in a while, but the rest a the posse here's fer open range.  'Sides, our favorite song is "Don't Fence Me In".
Careful is a naked man climbin' a bobwire fence.

Then what yer tellin' me, Huk, is when ya said "Time to head fer the ol' saloon." that didn't mean our Saloon was your next fencing project?  Mebbe I jus got a mite de-fencive 'cause of a misunderstanding.  Hope ya didn't take any of-fence at my de-fence of our favorite un-fenced waterin' hole.  Gotta 'member, 'round here, we don't much care fer war-mongers ("specially those bobwar ones) or card sharps.

With that said, how 'bout sittin' a spell and rest yore weary fence buildin' bones, and have a drink on ol' Hamp.  Barkeep, keep 'em comin' til I say stop or I go home.  Ifin ya see old williamlayton, tell him he kin join us too, if he ain't on a tear.

Say Huk, you aint kin to that Hukleberry feller ol' Doc Holiday used to talk about , are ya?
